"We support local companies but this place loses the potential to earn more customers. Recently, the yogurt selection was very uneven and the options are limited. The toppings are either stale or not present. It's summer time! There should be more flavors available."

"Misson Viejo location for this small mexican food chain. When I went last I had a Daves Burrito and ordered it wet. It came in a burrito sized box that was overflowing with sauce (pics . After I poured off 2-3oz of extra sauce, the burrito was good tasting. Pico de gallo? Extra and runny... Guacamole? Priced in little cups like its gold (pics . Chips to go with the pico de gallo? Extra in bags, over salted, and in stale oil, ewww. I paid close to 15$ for a burrito, chips, drink and pico de gallo with guac... For one person??! I feel bad for the locals who have to go here. I've paid closer to 10$ at local carnicerias in Costa Mesa, Santa Ana or Capistrano. For some odd reason if you ask at the counter for picante sauce, they give you a chili de arbol kind of roasted sauce or tapatio. The chili de arbol sauce is free?? But there is charge for pico de gallo?? Weird... Agreed with other reviewers, the counter space and one or two chrome tables were disgusting with old food smeared on them. I did go after lunch, but staff had time to clean, they either didn't want to or otherwise. Tables and floors made me scared to ask to use the one bathroom. There was no line and only one table in use, besides the corner of counter I was on. Credit to the staff, they could have had a huge order but they didn't really seem to be moving. I've worked restaurant staff and Mgmt positions and with their open kitchen (ok, that was cool I didn't see much activity. One table (two? outside crammed in next to the entrance. Shared strip mall parking between Fedex and Sherman Paints. I would not go back, in the past the place was cleaner and more of a value... I found the staff to be very short for answers and not very friendly or helpful. The food was decent, but overpriced and so not much of a value. I had a sit down table service meal that cost close to that per person today. This is casual front counter to-go service. The real deal breaker was the cleanliness. If the front of the house is that gross, how's the back??"

"We ordered from Del Taco 24465 Alicia Pkwy, Mission Viejo, CA 92692 on 09-05-2022. In addition to the food itself we automatically received the following: ? 1 brown paper bag ? 5 waxed paper food wrappers ? 4 napkins ? 2 plastic straws ? 2plastic straw wrappers ? 1 waxed paper cup ? 1 plastic lid Received by Request: ? 4 foil sauce packets So we didn?t need 2straws for 1 drink. We didn?t get a receipt. Service was fast and accurate otherwise."

"Hacienda La Joya is a diner in a Mission Viejo strip mall that specializes in both American and Mexican breakfasts, sandwiches, and burgers. I wasn 't sure what to expect before I walked in, but I was immediately set at ease with Hacienda La Joya 's welcoming décor, clean tables, and its delightful and familiar aromas of meats being sizzled, onions being sautéed, eggs being griddled, and pancake batter being cooked. For my breakfast, I ordered the Taco Combo #2, which consisted of two tacos, rice, and refried beans for $6.99. The first taco I ate was the Carne Asada Taco, which is delivered wrapped in foil, with two white corn tortillas, melted cheese, onions, and cilantro along with the well seasoned beef, tender and soft. In fact, this is soft enough to be lengua, but it really is just well marinated beef. My other taco selection was the Hard Shell Potato Taco, which contains home fried potato chunks cooked on a greasy plancha, the starches of the potato adhering to the grill surface and crisping up in the best ways you want your breakfast potatoes to cook, with crunchy edges and smooth, soft innards. And yet the best aspect of these potatoes was not the texture, but rather the mildly spicy seasoning blend that really brought them to life. This is an uncanny potato taco a breakfast style potato taco rather than the usual mashed potato style tacos which makes it uniquely awesome. You must ask for salsa on the side, as it does not normally come out with the Taco Combo. Don 't expect much heat from it, it is somewhere between bell pepper and Tapatio on the Scoville scale, but it is otherwise a decent tasting rustic salsa with freshly chopped tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. Karina Franco owns and runs this vibrant Mexican greasy spoon diner with her husband Carlos. They inherited the place from Mrs. Franco 's mother and have built a stellar local reputation that I believe is well deserved based on my 7:30am Sunday morning visit in May."

"I hate sharing a hidden gem, but I'm also for making sure small businesses get the exposure and support they need, so I'll let you in on a little secret nestled in Mission Viejo. Taco Tuesdays for $1.75 and that's the type of deal you don't see in Orange County these days anymore, especially in South Orange County. Now what's awesome is that they have at least five different flavors for each type of meat, but really it's an endless list of options. My go-to are fried chicken, pastor, chicharron, asada, and lengua. You can absolutely get a little bit of everything. Their tacos are super simple, but sometimes that's all you need. They also provide complimentary chips and salsa with your meal, so you can be assured you'll be taken care of with a great meal at a great price. This is the place to go for Taco Tuesday. TIP: Taco Tuesday. Try everything."

"I ordered Carne Asada Fries and 3 Rolled Tacos . just your typical taco shop fare, nothing fancy. I did love the red and green sauces. I dont do spicy and I could handle the heat! I never eat all the fries, so towards the end I just eat the meat. meat was tender and plentiful. 3 Rolled Tacos was above average. the filling was tasty and the taco shells arent hard fried."

"Yummy tacos! The carnitas tacos are the best! Hubs likes the carne asada tacos too. They are small but stuffed with meat, so 3 are a perfect dinner. You can also add a side of rice beans to make a combo. We have tried the guacamole but they put way too much onion in it (and I love onion so if it's too much for me then it's an issue)."
