"Everything was cold. Making the Large Nacho Fries fries gross. The Bean Burrito burrito I tried with green sauce and that had to be the worst thing I had. The Chalupa Supreme was soggy and cold. Beefy Melt Burrito was ok even if it was cold. I ordered extra chicken and rice which made Chicken Enchilada Burrito the best of the bad. I have low expectations with Door Dash delivering now"

Situated in an old home with funky decor, two bars, and tables located in several rooms on two diffrent floors, this not-your-typical Mexican restaurant is a fun place to have dinner drinks with friends... The sticky ribs appetizer is NOT to be missed under any circumstance; the entrees are well-prepared, although the quacamole is disappointingly average Service is fast and friendly, the atmosphere loud and boisterous. The place gets crowded quickly and the bars are very cramped. Drinks are ok, tending to be be on the weak side, but beer selection is decent."

I felt that the damped mushes were good, simply exaggerated by garlic and for me to say that it was alot of garlic. if I want to spend money on meeresfruit I want to taste it. two mushes were partially opened. made me leary to eat them, but I did it anyway. bisque had no lobsters as expected, but it was good. it didn't show a cheese as an ingredient, but I felt I could taste cheese. Maybe it was the heavy one and spiced. the croutons were a welcome topping to cut the strong aromes. hubby enjoyed his steamer and didn't whip while they were sacrificing them. "Visiting Newport and came to this place last night for a drink, and wanted to come back for dinner tonight. First, my husband and I both didn't enjoy our drinks from yesterday blueberry mule and whiskey sour), but we liked the atmosphere of the place so we decided to give it another chance for dinner. The decor is cool but it was hot and musty inside. We were sat right away, but it took a rather long time for a server to grab out orders. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time as we had a feeling from the beginning things would be on the slower side. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my husband ordered a burger with cheese $1 extra) and bacon $2) extra. My quesadilla was a quesadilla, not much to mess up with a tortilla and cheese, but I will say it's quite evident the chicken they used was microwaved out of a bag. My husband ordered his burger medium rare, it came the first time around well done and burnt to a crisp. We sent it back and finally when it came back, it was still burnt to a crisp on the outside, but inside was rare as can be. Overall service was pretty sub par, the manager never came over to apologize for the food being sent back, just walked by and gave us weird looks a few times."

"Love all the rooms in Bar Board! I don't recall if there was ever music in the main bar room downstairs but it was noticeable that there was none... a nice bed of background music always helps the ambiance. Cheers! Brian McEwen"

"In an area full of snooty people and uptight establishments this place is a great find. Full on vegan menu. It says ‘no substitutions to avoid mistakes’ but they did do subs for us so who knows how strict that is. Very tasty and good value for the money. Particularly in an area where food can be very $. Ita a mexicali type place with street style tacos, salads and burritos are the main go-tos. They also have fries. If this is something you like you wont be disappointed."

"Food was above average taste, average portions. I had the baked salmon, rice pilaf and potatoes. The rice was beautiful and subtle. The potatoes might have been a bit salty, but not bad. The service was slow, although there were very few people in the restaurant. On the plus side, all our drinks had the right amount of ice instead of giving us a glass of ice cream with a little drink in it. We'd better be with Cheddar."
