"We stayed for 10 days in San Martin, fabulous hiking and birding. But the restaurants were not outstanding. Ok, but a level below Bariloche. La Casona was the exception. Quiet, intimate, very friendly service and really well prepared food. We both ordered from the parilla...menu ojo de bife and cerdo. Both perfectly prepared. Side dishes of wok vegetables and papas noisettes wonderful. Even the chimichuri here seemed a cut above. The menu had a lot to offer beyond the parilla we wished we’d found La Casona earlier in our stay. They even had a delicious and inexpensive Tanat wine that I’d highly recommend. A very pleasing restaurant that I am happy to review!"

"Our 'enchiladas' consisted of unworn meat, which was folded into a huge cornmeal pancake and scattered into cream and cubed parsley; the 'margherita' was a lumpy sweet slut without a hint of tequila... In this place, Mexican food is a fantasy concept and 'chili' is only understood as a false pronunciation of the country next door when you are pulled here by friends, just order a steak and it will probably be big"

"Hermoso lugar, buena atención, buenísima la cerveza, que mas pedir. El piano de cola convertido a choppera una belleza. Si te gusta la cerveza no podes dejar de ir. Y si tenes suerte que te atienda el dueño pedile de recorrer la fábrica."

"This restaurant and cafe hasthe best location in town, very friendly staff and it is a pity that food is not good because it could easily become a great place. We came here over the years for drinks, coffee, food...you name it. It is not...BAD but it could definitely improve the quality of the “picadas” for instance, as its terrace overlooking the lake is FANTASTIC when the weather is nice. I know the concept is “deli” or fast food, but honestly they have the best location and great service. They should try to step up a bit on the food and overall quality."

"Un lugar cómodo, luminoso, con muy buena atención. Los precios normales. Pedimos una bondiola a la pimienta con papas fritas, estaba todo muy rico y abundante. El vino de autor, malbec finca Gabriel me gustó mucho. Las milanesas gigantes se veían espectaculares y todos se llevaban a su casa, ya que sobraba bastante. Un lugar para recomendar."
