"My partner and I don’t often travel to Fortitude Valley, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to visit NewBliss Cafe at 47 Warner Street to check out their renovations and new menu!. Location, ambience service. NewBliss Cafe is located in the centre of Fortitude Valley – between Wickham and Ann Streets. Unfortunately this means that parking is a bit difficult, but on weekends it’s much better with street parking available! NewBliss is open Saturdays, and later this month, will be opening on Sundays too."

"We ordered two entrees, three mains and one dessert:<br/ -soft tofu with chilli reduction paste: the cold soft tofu matches nicely with the aromatic chilli/garlic paste.<br/ -tom yum gong (prawn): the soup served to us at room temperature, which was quite unacceptable, but after we told them I think they just pop it into the microwave to heat it up. <br/ <br/ -Panang curry with tofu: not the usual strong flavoured Thai curry, which are usually too sweet/salty. They seem to have found the right balance to make a good curry.<br/ -spicy fried mixed rice with tofu: good texture from the mixture of different rice, not too oily as well. <br/ -zucchini and carrot pad Thai: I personally ordered this just out of curiosity if the zoodle is a good substitute for normal rice noodle. I would still prefer normal pad Thai.<br/ <br/ -taro custard cake: LOVE the dessert! The glutinous black rice, whisper coconut cream and the cake goes very well! Not too sweet and hits the right spot<br/ <br/ Overall this is my favourite Thai place, as the flavour is there without being too heavy in salt/oil, especially sugar (which is usually the case for Thai cuisine). Their menu offer quite a few healthier options, which is a rare find for Thai restaurants.<br/ Waitresses were very friendly and genuine in their service. <br/ Apart from the room temperature soup, everything was close to perfect.<br/"

"Well located on Eagle Street, a stones throw from Eagle Street Pier, we entered through the large glass doors of Three Beans cafe to a spacious lobby. Inside, the attractive decor was warm and welcoming. To the left, a line of cosy tables spanned and to the right a large outdoor dining area with comfy chairs and awnings to protect diners from the elements greeted us. It was a nice day out, so we decided to sit outdoors- most of the other diners had the same thoughts.<br/ <br/ The all day menu had an extensive selection, catering for those who wanted a quick bite or for those who required more sustenance. A range of healthy bowls, burgers, wraps and sandwiches were on offer. <br/ <br/ We both had the same idea and decided on the healthy bowls. The Acai smoothie bowl was aesthetically pleasing and packed with summer fruits. The Nourish Bowl was as they said – a whole lot of goodness in a bowl. Both were fresh and appetising. <br/ <br/ Chai and Matcha would have to be two of our loves when it comes to beverages. I would have preferred my Matcha latte to have a richer more aromatic flavour . The same goes for the Chai tea. <br/ <br/ Today was our first visit to Three Beans Cafe and we were suitably impressed with the quality of the food, the attentive and friendly service and the comfortable surroundings. <br/ <br/ Food : 8.5/10<br/ Value : 8/10<br/ Service: 8/10<br/ Environment: 8/10"

"The salt and pepper squid was very well done and was delicious. I have heard horror stories of rubbery squid and it’s always a relief after the first bite to find that my squid is not rubbery. The fries had a tasty herb sprinkling tossed through them and the salad provided a refreshing contrast to the otherwise rich flavours of the dish. I would order this dish again..."

"My fave place for salads!!! They serve varieties of salads which are mouthwatering. I always end up getting the regular or large size which allows me to have more variants. I had mango chicken, chicken schnitzel, and tuna&avocado salads. Mango chicken salad had a unique taste. The mango gave a distinct experience without overpowering the salad. All the ingredients are fresh. I always have the salads without dressings but it’s more than enough for me because the salads themselves are already delish!!"
