"Food was underwhelming. Ordered the 7oz. Steak sandwich, no seasoning on the steak, gravy was pretty thick, decent flavor though. Definitely wouldn't reorder."

"I checked on the website bull and finch and saw that they had on Friday nights and half-price desserts steak sandwiches for 10$c. it was just a few minutes walk from my hotel, so I went over. there was a chalkboard that led the same specials....The outside of the restaurant was very appealing. No one has greeted me and I was sitting one by one table before someone came by. After ordering the steak sandwich special, I was told that it is only good if they order a drink. that was not on the website or on the current one. I only drink water so that it didn't work. I said the waitress, I would order the beef sandwich and poutine, and they were both good. I had waited very long to get service and then eat. the tables with men who drink beer were quickly helped and often checked. I was full and couldn't finish the meal. I asked if I could order a dessert and take him home. the waitress said yes, she brought the bill and I paid. twenty minutes later the waitress came back and explained that the manager told her that you can't order desserts. I explained that I was too full now. the manager brought my dessert and told me I couldn't take him home. If you want to eat good, I have a suggestion. I was very happy in the next night to go to ricky’s all day grill at 11520 24th st almost on the same parking place. I was warmly welcomed, served quickly, eating was cheaper, just as delicious and when I couldn't finish it, they brought me to box. they took time to chat and to eat a dame from themselves feel welcome."

"Can't disagree that the food was very good but the service for lunch was non-existent.waiting 20 min after seating we had to flag somone down to get ordering kicked off. Still not sure who are waiter actually was and the place was not busy, at all.Hate to see what would happen if it was full. Ended up hurrying through eating just to make it back to work so could only try one dish."

"Ate breakfast here - lots of options from traditional breakfast meals to quick, buffet style breakfasts. Our meals came quickly. Eggs and toast were perfect. Bacon was a bit too smoky and chewy and the "hashbrowns" were not hashbrowns but breakfast potatoes. Prices were reasonable for a hotel restaurant."

"We were treating our Calgary friends to dinner and this was the restaurant of their choice. It was fabulous, perhaps even better because it was 1/2 price Tues for bottles of wine. To share. we ordered avocado on toast and coconut breaded shrimp. My husband said the ribs were the best he had ever eaten. I had a salad with quinoa/avocado/sweet potato and it was delicious. One of our friends said she always orders the sushi and I sampled this wonderful dish. We had absolutely no room for dessert. Apparently this is a chain but we never go to Mississauga where there is another location."
