".............Sunday arvo pub lunch. Pretty good sticky pork belly & seared scallops salad ($26 though....a little rich) onion rings and surf & turf special. The steak was served with double roasted salty & crunchy potatoes with big bbq king prawns on top. Great for a quiet lunch........"

"Joined friends for breakfast at The Ladder this past week. First time I have been there. The space is large - you can eat inside, at the front on the road or in the back garden area - which I think would be perfect in the summer months. We all ordered the same dish as we saw it being delivered to another table and it looked really yummy. It was !There is an all day breakfast menu and the dish we ordered was called "Breakfast Quesadilla" which consisted of a grilled flour tortilla with scrambled eggs, bacon, spring onions and cheese inside and on the side a bowl of corn, black beans and chorizo salsa plus a jalapeño aioli sauce on the side. Everything about this dish was unbelievably yummy. Filling and really satisfying. Unfortunately we didn't chose anything else on the menu so can't provide any further details though quite a few dishes looked tempting. The price was $19.00 which was good value. There was a tempting array of pastries, cakes and salads on offer at the counter. Overall the restaurant was very clean. The only discord was the toilet. They weren't clean and had a bad smell. There was also a large dead insect on the floor plus a small amount of rubbish - this was mid morning. Apart from this small point I am looking forward to going back to The Ladder and trying more items on their menu.Enjoy"

"Best vegan butter chicken in Perth. The vegetarian Mie Goreng is fantastic. Changes to order asking to remove mock meat via menulog is often not noticed or ignored. More attention to orders needed, but overall great food."
