"We had the most wonderful dinner with friends. The food was fantastic, the cocktails were top notch and as always, we had impeccable service. We always do! We have been coming to this restaurant for years (back when it was Trio) and always love having El as our waiter. He is absolutely phenomenal. Joe, the sommelier always makes sure we are taken care of as well. The whole team there is amazing! My husband had the rack of lamb which was cooked as requested: medium rare, as it should be! The whipped potatoes and Brussels sprouts were a great size for 4 adults to share. Mind you, 4 adults who also had a couple of amazing appetizers as well. We got the house rolls and empanadas. Yummy! The house rolls are served warm with sides of butter and honey. Can’t go wrong with anything you order, it is always cooked to perfection. Others have said this place is overpriced but honestly it is The Four Seasons in downtown Austin, of course it is going to be pricey."

"I was looking forward to a special dinner with family to celebrate a birthday. Although the restaurant was less than 50% capacity, it was more than 15 minutes after seating before wait staff appeared. Unfortunately, some menu items were unavailable. But, more concerning, was the quality and taste of the food. The wedge salad was partially frozen and thawed, resulting in a a somewhat mushy salad. The 3 entrees we ordered were not well seasoned, or prepared. Vegetables were less-than Al-dente, and quite undercooked, while proteins were inconsistent. Wait staff rarely checked in with the table. And what should have been a great birthday celebration was a less-than-celebratory occasion with a significant bill at the end."
