"We actually ate here two nights in a row. We didn’t plan it that way, and they were very busy and because of the family style seating they were able to accommodate us. Everything was great: the food, beer, service, and the feel of the...place is wonderful. We enjoyed the company of others we sat with and that made it extra special. Try the local beer pronounced “oo” great!"

"Located amid one of Bamberg's busier pedestrianized streets, this is an atmospheric and sprawling and beerhall (across the street from the world famous and always packed Schlenkerla). Ambrausianum makes for a great fallback in the event that you are intimidated by those crowds. Grab a table and go for their Bierprob, which is a taster of all three house beers. These were pretty good, as was the hearty German grub; I tried the flammenkuch, a German style flatbread pizza. Decent service as well. Honestly, Bamberg is one of Germany's most beautiful cities and should not be missed."

"We were here with a big group of people from our school. took over 2 tables and a table, all youngs, ordered the same food! ass carved, and they got it much faster than our table, where we ordered all different things. the carving was very popular, and it turned out that it was very good. our table had two different pizzas, which were large and filled with linings, well smelled and, according to the guests, well tasted. my baked kartoffel with cheese and sweet was saturating and tasty, the radler was more beer than limonade, so for a moderate drinker I like my radler more limonade. the nuddel bags, similar to ravioli, looked good, were enjoyed, but had more oil than I want. the service was friendly, the place full, and so was the waiting for service and eating somewhat impaired. tables in free were in a good position, although the chairs were not so supportive. all in all, I can recommend this for those who want to enjoy a less tourist place."

"Just Ok. Can't say that I will come back here. There is no view, unlike the Speziel Keller, and the menu is small. So if you are a vegetarian, there is one plate of cheese with pieces of bread, and then some bread or...pretzels with pickles. Otherwise, it is meat oriented, and as it is now warm spring/summer, there is more of a Brotzeit, rather than a dinner menu. Lots of different beers, tho I wasn't thrilled with their Radler. My cheese plate was slices of swiss, pieces of Camembert, pieces of rye bread, butter, a pickle, quark, and a herb cheese spread. There was a plate of long bratwursts and sauerkraut, but the sauerkraut wasn't that great. Overall, not a great experience. Service was pleasant, however."

"It was really good. Food was really delicious, maybe a bit expensive for a breakfast, but you also really get a good portion. Drinks are top and the coffee is really very good. The operation also made a very competent impression"

"We came here for the beer, so we had everything we were here. It was a great place and not too big, not too small beer garden smart! The bees seemed to be everywhere we went..maybe only the time of the year.....but people always had covers for their breasts."
