"On a nice day I'd recommend this is a great place to sit outside if you are in the area and fancy breakfast while people watching. Eggs & bacon with a decent coffee in the sunshine on the Taborstrasse is a fine start to the day. If the weather isn't so good the inside seems to be a haven for chain smokers."

"Typical beisl, nicely located at the Mexicoplatz with a free view of the park, quiet, cool and green.The food is plentiful, homemade and cheap, but not great.Very friendly owners and they had a few veggie options, mushrooms were ok, but not great but dirt cheap. Very conveniently located when you are staying at the Novotel Suitehotel."

"We ate at the outside tables and found the service to be incredibly attentive. Our server (didn't catch her name, but she was a tall blonde who looks like Uma Thurman) had a great sense of humor. Food delivery time was short (about 10 min.).We're Californians who have been eating authentic Mexican food our entire lives. To be honest, the food here isn't particularly authentic. But who cares?! It was delicious. I had the chicken enchiladas, which were smothered with more cheese than any human should eat at any one sitting (I took it as a personal challenge and did just that). No skimping on the meat, either (we found portion sizes in Austria - we spent 2+ weeks touring the country - to be pretty generous in general). My husband had the chimichanga. Again, completely meat-stuffed. Meat eaters would do fine at this restaurant.Prices were about as expected (approx 11 euros per main).The restaurant also has daily drink specials. We didn't order from the board, but there was definitely quite a selection over the span of weekdays.Note: as with many (most?) restaurants in Austria, service charge isn't included."

"Waren heute aufgrund der guten Bewertungen und auf der Suche nach fleischlosen Gerichten das erste mal hier essen. Und das obwohl wir bereits seit drölf(!) Jahren in der Gegend wohnen!Wir teilten uns zu zweit die vegetarische frühlingsrolle danach gab's die indonesische reisplatte für eine Person. reichte uns aber gut zu zweit und beides war hervorragend. Außerdem werden im Lokal viele Fleischspeisen geboten. und bedient wurden wir sehr freundlich. Kommen sicher wieder mal. Hat bis 22.00 geöffnet.Mahlzeit ;)"

"After a long, hot day this place seemed especially appealing under the linden trees. With an English menu, we were on our way. I chose beef goulash with dumplings, my wife went for the pork medallions. Both of us were happy at these tasteful choices. Single waiter tonight did an admiral job at serving all the outside tables."
