"Restaurants are meant to do food business and there are many who are doing really good but there are very few who connects with their customers emotionally and they let the business flourish automatically. Shree Shivay is one of them. Shree Shivay makes you realize how simple and basic food which is rooted with the culture and roots can be a divine place to have a quality time and gives you a feeling of homely belonging. The location of the place is bit away from the chaos of the city. Mr. Piyush Verma has been a great host for us on the day we visited his place. He welcomed us warmly and his hospitality was reflecting his vast experience and personality. Shree Shivay happens to be a pure vegetarian restaurant (they not even use onion and garlic). FOOD Shree Shivay only serves thaali which is a fusion of various cuisines from states like UP, MP, Bihar, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Punjab. We had sandalwood khas, chaach, safed kadhi, raita, kheer, aalu palak, matar paneer, rajma, daal tadka, dhokla, sabu dana papad, banarasi poori, aalu cutlet, coconut ladoo, khichdi, jeera rice, pulao, roti, parwal ki sabji, mithi chutney, hari chutney, coconut chutney, pickle. One can imagine how humoungous would have been the thaali to accommodate so many items. But the taste was totally like home cooked with balanced spices. AMBIENCE The interior may give you a feeling of a royal dining seating space with cozy furniture and soothing interior. Everything was very perfectly placed. Hygiene has been one of the key factor on which the owner especially focuses and it was clearly visible from the kitchen tour as well. SERVICE The staff was very courteous and they were dressed in ethnic wear. They were very professional and took care of every minute detailing. I liked the unique way they washed our hands with rose water before we started our lunch and used lemon water to clean our hands after we completed."

"In a nook on Dashashwamedh, Dosa cafe is quietly dishing up the best ghee roast dosas I’ve ever eaten. As a staunch hater of variety dosa I was skeptical When I saw the array of weird dosa combinations in the menu. But I’d heard so much about the place that I decided to give it a go. I ordered Spinach Potato Dosa and Mango Dosa and was not at all disappointed! I’d visit here everyday if I could. I didn’t think the prices were extravagant. The only downside is that it’s a quick eat-and-dash place and a hangout corner."

"Recently while visiting Varanasi we stayed at the lovely Surya - Kaiser Palace. We had a few of our meals at Canton Royale, all of which were most enjoyable. The menu is extensive and great care has been put into including options which are Gluten free. We tried the Bengali Fish Sandwich and the Eggplant Falafel Burger which were delicious. The portions were huge! Soft big buns filled with hot patties and topped with cheese, served with a big basket of fries. Perfect with a chilled beer on a warm afternoon. On another occasion we tried the Bhutta Methi Palak and the Dal Fry along with Fish Tikka for starters. Probably the favourite meal of our stay.<br>

Also must try the many salad and soup options. The mulligatawny and pumpkin soups are heavenly. <br>

The staff was warm and efficient. They don't have roomali roti on the menu but when we requested them they specially made some for us! Now that's what you call five star treatment.<br>

Coming to food, it is so delicious Yams There is no doubt that u will be disappointed in any way. Only the thing is u must wait for a time, but after this waiting, food that will get u will forget all the time that u waited. Visit it. Must try Kadhai distributor, it's Yamm. Decide for a thali Or a lunch, it is much better than a starter. And the price, it is under budget, not at all expensive, such a delicious food under a budget. Welcome. Visit and it is really nice."
