"This place is consistently delicious and one of our favourite Viet places in Brisbane! Take a bottle of BYO Sav Blanc along and start with some make your own fun rolls (because they are FUN) and share a few mains we love the Crispy Skin Chicken with plum sauce and the Chicken with Chilli  Lemongrass. Service is always fast and you will leave feeling so satisfied, with a meagre bill to boot."

"I have been a customer of Jeff' and Nancy's Sushi On the Run for more than years when they had two restaurants in Fortitude Valley. It was at least a fortnightly visit to the larger establishment on Gotha Street because this is where Jeff...mastered his pork ramen dish. I need to explain that this soup recipe is made from scratch, which entails boiling pork an chicken bones for hours.....I dont know of any restaurant that goes through these pains for quality. The flavour of the soup is unsurpassed. Now i have visited many, and this includes Tokyo, the home of Ramen, and Singapore where ramen houses abound. But you can taste the quality of the broth, not diluted for volume and unsparingly generous portions The pork is lean meat, thinly sliced as it should be and generous portions, including the noodles. Any other Ramen shop does charge a least , but Jeff sticks to his and why ? regrettably Brisbane's Chinatown is dying a slow death. I think many Chinese now flock to Sunnybank. So I understand some writers commenting the tired look of his restaurant, I agree. but why am I there? to impress others or admire the decor ? No , I am there for food. I am a westerner but any Chinese or Japanese will tell you food is the draw, not the look. I dont know why Australians dont take to Ramen in soup, from my observation in other Japanese ramen houses in Australia, but they are really missing out on a fabulous dish. I guess California rolls is what they stick to but that is not Japanese....you will never find a California roll in Japan in an authentic sushi restaurant. I would need to add a comment on the Sushi because that is the mainstay. Well yes, there could be more dishes on the train but I am sure they would be there if they had a full house....I must say that the salmon and tuna that Nancy prepares is as fresh as they come, today I could taste the quality of the sushi, and Deb,s' (my wife) seaweed sushi was excellent, no taste of the ocean to put you off it, sufficiently crunchy to be tasty and top quality. My children had their favourite chick terriyaki balls which they thoroughly enjoyed with spring rolls and Udon noodles Our last visit was years ago and quality has not changed, WELL DONE JEFF AND NANCY.....next Brisbane visit will not be complete without a call at Sushi on the Run"

"The food is a 5 bit it is so noisy that I dropped the rating. We could barely hear each other speak. We had pork gyoza, lemongrass chicken gyoza, and bacon and cheese gyoza. They were all very good although I could not taste the cheese. The kaarage chicken was delicious. I wish I was able to try a dessert gyoza ....... maybe next time."
