"Great! Loved this famous local dish, SO delicious. Cool traditional feeling, many seats, but very tight squeezing in 1 or 2 cabins, you can move the dividers to visit with a friend if necessary. (We packed two in us and our 3 children on 2 stands, it was funny to say the least! I'll guess, but it's worth it. Cold water spigot at any stand is a big plus. Quick kiosk order to pay and get a ticket, but then made perfect to order according to your preferences on your seat. Locals recommend the solid noodles, and a refill of noodles. I like extra garlic in mine. It's quite fun underground near the subway."

"Having worked in Tsukiji Tokyo for 5 years trying the different sushi restaurants for lunch and dinner. I must say this is a worthy competitor to many of those. However, the price is much less."

"First Rammen Shop I visited with the machine set and you can get vegan ramen! So finally this quintessential Japanese experience had. The rams themselves tasted so delicious and was a large bowl for only about 900yen. The owner was not only great cook, but so friendly and chatting"

"Mengekijo Genei is a ramen restaurant that imitates a theater designed by a famous architect Mitsuru Kiryu. It is a popular restaurant listed in the 2014 Michelin Guide Fukuoka · Saga. The open kitchen, which can be viewed from any seat, gives you the feeling of being in the theater. Fukuoka's main restaurant is Tonkotsu Ramen, but there are also Shoyu(soy sauce) ramen and carrier noodles featuring onion oil and shrimp. Noodles are homemade in the shop. Seafood soup is used for the soup of tonkotsu ramen, and you can enjoy ramen full of originality. The recommendation of the store is TKG (egg on rice) which boasts itself as the best in Japan. By the way, Japanese people have no resistance to eating eggs raw."
