"For a sushi place in a smaller, inconspicuous mall, they have some impressively good sushi! I've had actual Japanese sushi in Kyoto so I have some understanding of authentic sushi, but I'm by no means a connoisseur. The staff here is also very friendly, if they don't already have what you want on display, they will make it fresh in less than 5 minutes."

"So pop ups make me nervous. I'm nervous I'm going to love them and then they'll go away. Happy to find out this is a food truck also. They recently took over the Meat Bar space as a pop up downtown. Downtown is a odd market. Most of the places are only open for lunch down there so I feel they don't really get the foodie crowd. I understand the double edged sword of being open for dinner as well and not having customers because everyone leaves after work. But then no one goes downtown after 5 because everything's closed. I had an opportunity to finally try this spot (I missed Meat Bar because of their changing, depleting hours First off the space is awesome. On the outside it doesn't look like it's much. But the space is grand and really makes a mark. I had read about Mashita's burritos but really am a fan of Bi Bim Bop. I got it with chicken. They also have broth bases dishes which would be awesome on a cold night but this particular afternoon was in the 60's. The Bi Bim Bop was really good. Not the best I've had (Jims Grill in Chicago! but still really tasty. As an appetizer I got the hot buns with pork cheek. Outstanding. I could have had these for the meal. So tender, fresh and flavorful. My only regret is the hours. I would go there often if it had longer hours and give the ramen a try,"
