"Swung by on a weeknight and got a few happy hour (5 7pm) and regular items to share: Sapporo, shrimp tempura roll, black garlic miso ramen, and an assortment of nigiri. Staff was very friendly and we got lucky with finding a spot in the tiny parking lot. The parking situation is probably the most challenging part about dining in here there are only a handful of spots in front of the restaurant, otherwise it's street parking. We were pleasantly surprised by the happy hour items, the shrimp tempura roll was our fav and the $3 Sapporo couldn't be beat! The ramen was pretty good with a generous portion of noodles and meat. Unfortunately, we found the noodles to be a bit soggy and easily breaking. The quality of nigiri was overall okay, with the uni and ika being our favorites. One bit of feedback is that the cucumber wrap for the uni detracted from the experience because the textures had too big of a contrast. Personally, we would have preferred it with seaweed. The rest of the fish was a bit warm and the texture a little too soft for our liking. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and we opted for the latter because it felt a bit too warm inside. The outside patio area is quaint but we were also exposed to a variety of other smells being right next to a busy road and next door gas station."

"Came here without reservations at 18:30 on Tuesday. While we were able to quickly sit on our 3 party, we waited long for our server to take over our order. As soon as they took our order, only half of the food came out of the kitchen and there were people sitting next to us who came to us, but had arrived earlier. After we asked the server to repeat the order, we had to reorder the other half of our articles a second time. The appetizers and some of the main foods are a really good value with delicious food at reasonable prices. The yakitori barbecue items were quite expensive and is not really a good value for money, although some were better than others. Would recommend the pieces of meat with cheese and sauces as they were juicer and moister. Some of the highlights of the meal are the Tamagoyaki Omelette, braided pig, short rib. The dessert was probably the light and was not very good. The Matcha panna cotta was ok, but the caramel cheesecake was extremely disappointing. Frozen pieces of cheesecake with a burned caramel flavor that still taste some of the butane torch."

"I came to this place because of the Yelp reviews, actually I am quite disappointed. Food is ok, nothing excited. The steak is very tough, not impressed at all. Also, this is the first Vietnamese restaurant I know the lettuce doesn't come with the egg roll. So, we paid $3.99 for the iceberg lettuce that goes with our egg rolls."

"Have been coming here for a while. It's always solid food good quality fish and large portions. However it is a very small place so we only get takeout and it can be inconsistent depending on what you order otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. Go with the Yellow Ranger roll if you like salmon. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner"
