"This place was SO good. Hands down my new favorite Japanese restaurant in the San Diego area. We had bento boxes (spicy teriyaki and chicken cutlet) and split an extra roll on the side. The food was great, the portions were huge, and the service was unbelievably speedy despite a packed house. Only negative is the mixed tempura was a little undercooked--I would recommend against choosing that with your bento. Street parking is scarce but there's a huge, free public lot less than a block away."

"I've eaten here a bunch of times before (Ramen Poke' its always delicious! Ordered takeout this time it was not a disappointment. My husband I both got ramen, with some add ons. The server was by herself immediately apologized for that. We felt bad for her, considering it was kinda steady as far as dine in takeout patrons. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes it was perfect. The only thing I would change about this place is the fact that they close mid day for a few hours. This is my go-to place since it's much closer than Austin I don't always eat at the same times of the day.....my ramen/poke' cravings kick in whenever they want!!!"

"So good! the dishes are huge, slightly two meal times. unlimited toppings is brilliant and the variety is great. it's so easy to get something completely different each time. everything is fresh and tasty, and although it is not cheap, for the amount I think it balances."

"Great food and a lot of menu options ranging from ramen, sushi, sashimi, bao, bento, and various combinations. Prices are descent (anything with fish tends to be more expensive than the ramen or bao), plus they have different lunch and dinner prices for combos/bentos. It was nice sitting outside on their patio. Service was quick as well. Great experience!"

"Tonkotsu Ramen is ok, but pork broth is too salty and chashu pork is way too sweet. Still probably the best in San Marcos, but if you like Ramen and know what real ramen is you will be disappointed."
