"We visited the restaurant just after 2pm. We took an indigent individual with us who eats about every 2 or 3 days. She couldn't even eat about one third of her plate due to her decreased stomach capacity. So we were going to take the remainder of her plate with us and requested a to go container and was told it would be an additional $8. We weren't getting food off the buffet, just what was left that she couldn't eat. Which was a partial chicken breast, mashed potatoes, 1 slice of pizza and 1 and a half bread sticks. Upon leaving I noticed their mission statement in the entry about glorifying God and making a positive impact on the customers and the community. I even explained the situation to the supervisor on duty and was explained that the $8 is policy for everyone. After leaving feedback on their website, the owner contacted me and didn't make the situation any better with her explanation of why. We left and purchased the individual a meal somewhere else to take with them. This policy is in my opinion completely opposite of their mission statement. It's better I guess to throw it out, than to possibly allow someone to eat later in the day or tomorrow. We will no longer be going to any Pizza Ranch establishment due to our policy of helping those less fortunate than ourselves. Matthew 25:40.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible with 2 ramps"
