"I was in this restaurant twice. once in winter and once in summer. during my first visit in winter I liked the friendly and warm atmosphere. I took what I thought would have been one of their underwriting dishes, the Irish braided beef....I was disappointed because the bark was not as tender as it was expected from a meat that was slowly boiled for so long. the sauce was also very thin, not as comforting as I expected. my man took the steak and he could have a little picky on the way, it is cooked (he likes it more on the rare side of the mid-race), but he simply said that he should not take steak in any restaurant, unless they are steak houses. in this summer I went to the terrace and again, the atmosphere and the staff were A-1. I took what was on her favorite menu, the fish chips. the part was again more than enough, two big haddock filets and pommes. it also came with a very good koleslaw. Unfortunately, the fish was very dry and overcooked as if it had been transferred twice in the frit. I sometimes understand that the restaurants have to precook to speed up the service, but that was much overcooked, the color was medium to dark brown. perhaps the temperature of the oil was not sufficient. my man took the blue ranch burger and the size of the portion was very good, the meatpatty was dry, but the rest was good. Finally, I would like to say that I will always come to a drink without expecting much of the food. the atmosphere is always fun and the employees seem really fun to work here, which can offer more than many restaurants."
