"We were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat while we were in the area to do some Christmas grocery shopping, and Firebirds fit the bill well. The interior feels very similar to a Clyde's or other upscale American cuisine restaurants in the DMV. They seemed a little hesitant to seat us at first since we didn't have a reservation- but frankly the place was barely half full when we left, so I could have done without that attitude. But our server was excellent once we got seated. The menu is also similar to a typical American restaurant. I went with the Durango burger, which was cooked medium rare just like I had asked for, and had a great mix of flavors with the chile and ranch. The fries on the side were decent. Overall a good option in the area for a semi-casual lunch or dinner."

"I want this business last Saturday. You have the BEST tasting Soft Serve ice cream in this state. Your service is also wonderful. I had the pleasure of waiting for a young man named Brandon. He was wonderfully nice, and he made the most neat, perfectly swirled cone I've ever seen. It's a great family business. I highly recommend it!"

"A while back, my mom and I attended this restaurant during a trip. I remembered loving the burger I had and wanted to go back when I was in town again. This time, I went with my boyfriend and it was just as good as I had remembered! The atmosphere was welcoming, and our waiter, Gavin H., was excellent! He was attentive, ahead of the game with any refills and requests, and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant (and Gavin)!"

"I'm a steak lover, but not all steaks are created equal. my family took me to my birthday dinner (I usually go to the cheesecake factory every year), and my taste buds couldn't believe it. that was the best steak I ate everyone. it was perfectly cooked for my taste. I like Pittsburgh style or usually burned. this steak had burned edges, but still juicy, and that was perfect. long horn is now my new place. go, longhorn all"

"Walk up and order, server brings your food out. Extensive menu. Clean inside and out with a high health inspection rating. Outside dining area, a few tables in the open area and several tables with a fan in an enclosed dining area.The FRIED CHICKEN SALAD was big chucks of cut lettuce with lots of very ripe tomatoes, three slices of cucumber and a very light sprinkle of an unidentifiable processed cheese. It tasted exactly like it sounds, very bland but it was eatables.The chicken was a chicken finger cut up, I was hoping for more seasoning but it was bland also on the salad I would have liked it I think as a chicken finger with some honey mustard. The ranch dressing was homemade, but thin and again, bland.I love a good salad but there was nothing really outstanding about this one, I would not order this again, just because for the money it’s not worth it and there is probably something on the menu better.THE WORKS HOTDOGS $3.99 each with everything was ok. The chili and coleslaw was the primary taste. *If you like fries or are planning on sharing get the large fries. A small is really small.We will eat here again and try other items. The staff was very pleasant and we have heard very good things about this place."
