"Save yourselves time and frustration and go get a gyro or a pizza at GZ New York Pizza next door instead. I live less than a mile away and come to eat here every week or two. I 've had experience with both not so great service and good service. But today crossed the line. I walked in around 7:10pm on April 12th, there was one other person in the store in front of me in line. Soon I was greeted with a loud Are you getting a sandwich?! I thought Okay, somebody is not having the best of days. Understandable. I asked politely that I would like an Italian herbs and cheese bread footlong sandwich with chicken breast, toasted. I requested, as I always do, American cheese on one side of the sandwich. Tasha (lady who was serving me) asked what I meant by that and asked if I wanted it on the bread or on the meat. That plain out confused me, so I said I 'm not sure what she meant by that. Then, the guy that was working with her told me I meant to say, I only want cheese on one half. At that point I understood that she was being sarcastic and passive aggressive with me. So I said yes, that 's what I wanted. After Tasha put veggies on the sandwich and started wrapping it in the paper I asked her if she was going to fold the sandwich (you know, sandwich usually has a piece of bread on the bottom and on the top, and not look like a salad on top of some bread). To that she answered, once again, sarcastically Would you like me to do it like this?? and proceeded to place the knife on the insides of the sandwich and closed it up. I said Yes, that 's perfect! Thank you. Tasha shouted in response, while rolling her eyes and laughing out loud Oh my word! Oh my word! multiple times. Not sure what that means, but she seemed extremely irritated. All due to the fact that I merely told her how I like my sandwich. Now, I understand perfectly that I can 't expect five-star service from a minimum wage worker but I do expect to not have emotions accumulated prior to my visit to be poured out on me. As I paid and left, I felt so disrespected and insulted that I knew I didn 't want to let it go as that person clearly doesn 't deserve to ever interact with customers. I 've worked in customer service for over five years and I 've interacted with some rude customers. I 've also seen some rude workers as well under my supervision. But I 've never seen a customer get treated as inconsiderably and unacceptably as I was that night. I decided that I wanted to have a word with the manager of this business, so I put my sandwich in my car, went back inside, and asked Tasha Ma 'am, can I get your name please? She told me it was Tasha. As I said thank you and headed out I heard one of them (not sure who exactly) mutter f that guy as I was exiting but I held the door and asked What was that? Of course they denied saying anything and told me I 'm hearing things. I went back inside and asked Tasha for managers contact information to which she answered she didn 't have it. I asked for any of her supervisor 's information and she said she didn 't have any either. Then she said that I have two options. Either get in the car and eat my sandwich or she was going to call cops on me. I told her to go ahead (as she had absolutely no reason to do so) and she asked me for my name while dialing the phone (or making it look like she was). After this circus with the most inadequate person I ever encountered (that was shouting over me throughout the whole interaction, at any time I tried to speak) I realized there was no more reason to waste time, I left. This review is all I could really do about it since I wasn 't offered any contact information for a supervisor/manager. And of course I will never deal with this pathetic excuse of customer service again."
