"Met with friends for coffee a few times and lunch twice. limited menu, but very good. the deserts are wonderful. two sides, due to the extension, so make sure that someone meet to look at both rooms."

"Delicious food in central Bordeaux. Our favourite part was the surprise mixed platter to start - burrata, bread, meats, octopus, tzatziki, cous cous, tuna steak and balsamic tomatoes. Very yummy! For starter I had goats cheese wrapped in courgette, which was beautifully presented. For main I had cod, which was cooked to perfection - delicious crispy skin. My partner had sliced duck breast for main with sweet potato and butternut squash puree. We were absolutely stuffed after the main course so probably didn't need the mixed platter and starter! Highly recommend booking this place!"

"I have walked by or near this place for 5 years and never stopped to dine. It always seemed to be busy at lunch time. It was a bit chilly to dine outside, so we were seated in a nice area on the mezzanine. Lots of photos of Film Stars. So many of the staff members speak some English. We choose two different entre's and two different plates. A Fish for Jan followed by some great prawns, an unusual escargot dish for me fixed with a tomato and spicy pork sauce, still delicious, just not traditional, then a veal dish rice and served on a white cream sauce. Again very good. Jan had desert some sort or raspberry dish with really great sauce, I for one was so full from the first two I passed desert. Very reasonable wine by the glass, plus a nice list of wine by the bottle as well. We will return."

"Ice is very good in addition to being pretty! But it melts fast, it's a shame that the horn doesn't have an appropriate form so that we can take his time to eat it. It is nice to finish it in the garden of Luxembourg nearby. Employees are very kind. I recommend caramel perfume with small crispy pieces! I'll be back."

"During a short visit to Bordeaux, we had a late dinner at L 'Arbousier. Since it was our last night in France, we wanted to spend a little extra and took the most expensive option (25€ pp) of 3 set-menu choices. The starter with the Tartar of scallops was absolutely delicious. The main course was OK, but not so special as what the starter promised and the dessert again great. The service was very good and they were very patient even though we arrived late and were the last guests, there was no pressure at all to get us going. Overall great experience and nice closing of the stay in France."
