"The place is packed, and it’s understandable ! The staff is SUPER nice even during rush hours, their coffees are killers, so are their pastries. They don’t have signs to tell you what the pastries are, but they will gladly talk you through everything if you ask, even during a rush : one last important thing, which is rare in New York and that I love : they don’t put loud music in. So if you are looking for a calm, respectful place to read or just be, go there !"

"I have been to this place before and liked my experience but this time I loved it even more. It was a beautiful Friday night, great live music, nice summer breeze and my lovely wife next to me. We waited patiently, finally got to sit down at the bar, to be welcomed by such amazing food and excellent service all around from walking in to leaving. 20 stars to the outside staff!!!"

"Can you believe this is the first time I have ever set foot inside a Le Pain Quotidien? I am not sure why that is but I finally got a chance to sample their fare at one of their newest location in the upper west side. This new location opened last month and is on the corner of 76th and Broadway which formerly was the home of Maison Kayser. The space is beautiful, bright, and clean, with white marble counters and blond wood accents. The baked goods are gorgeously presented in the glass case by the entrance. The staff here are super friendly; was greeted as soon as I walked in and made to feel welcome. I ordered the mixed berry tart and a raspberry rose macaron. The tart was fantastic! The berries tasted very fresh, the cream filling was so tasty, and it had a nice crust. The macaron, surprisingly, was just alright. Props for presentation but I wished it were fresher. The bottom portion of the macaron was already soft from being in the case too long. I can imagine this being a dynamite dessert when it is from a fresh batch, but I think I came too late in the day. Prices are what you would expect for the UWS, so for me, it?s a little bit of a splurge but it doesn?t mean I won?t be back. On this visit, I opted for a couple of baked goods to go but made a mental note to try table service on my next visit."

"This was my first time eating here. I was a little worry, but it was actually a good experience. There was a 30 minutes wait because we did not made a reservation. They text you when your table is ready. The food was delicious. We ordered for appetizers the Chicken Quesadillas and Buffalo Blasts (they were spicy). I highly recommend the Thai Coconut-Lime Chicken and the Frozen Iced Mango. The Oreo Dream Extreme Cheesecake was delicious. The waiter was friendly and very courteous."

"One of the closest tastes to real French pastry , you know from France in France. The pastry was tasty, not too sweet in comparison to pastries almost anywhere. My only suggestion would be is the size, make them a bit smaller. The services is great, friendly. Will revisit, but will share as the portion is good for two persons..Enjoy!"
