"Exceptional food, service and wine! Every dish ordered was met with food envy from our table of 6! All photos taken on old phone that died unfortunately but I had the house hot pie with a side of fries and truffle aioli to die for and it was very tasty! Presentation of all meals superb. <br/>Must go back to have breakfast next time I’m in Wellington."

"After a frustrating visit to the hospital with my 91 year old Mum I decided to take her to Island Bay for lunch. I spent my first 22 years in the Bay. We found a park right outside the café. I had the Chicken Satay Salad and would highly recommend it. Mum had the lasagne and ate the lot. Very pleasant staff and prompt service. I will definitely be back."

"The price is definitely a big plus and they have a wide range of flavours however I had to deduct quite a few points because they use the same scoop for many different flavours. I have found peanuts in a raspberry and lemon I ordered, it's just as well I'm not allergic. I have also found a hair once, but that was a one off."

"The most delicious feed! Our whānau of 6 were all stoked with it ordering various dishes and we all left with very full, satisfied bellies. Chicken was juicy and crispy. The mushrooms were epics pops of yum, a must try (if you love a mush). Brioche buns were the softest wee pillows, if happily sleep on them. The staff were so friendly and awesome at what they do. The hostess was the mostest, very attentive, friendly and helpful amongst the chaos. Look no further, go here!"

"Constantly great food. We just ordered a Chocolate Frog Milkshake and a Fruit Smoothie, but the food in the past has been tasty and well priced. Our Chocolate Frog milkshake was amazing, and the fruit smoothie was really good. The slices in the cabinet were huge, some of the biggest I've seen. And again the place was very busy.<br/>Nice clean cafe, with polite friendly staff."

"We stopped here on our way to and from Florida! We decided to stop at this gem on our way to Florida. We got “the Heisenberg” and it was delicious!! I believe it was white chocolate and raspberry with rock candy on top to look like Walter white’s special crystals (if you love breaking bad). My husband and I also got the 41 burger with French fries and a grilled cheese sandwich for the kiddo. Burger was delicious and fries were well seasoned. Burger had pepper jack cheese, which added a nice flavor. Overall, great drinks. Definitely recommend the Heisenberg! My daughter loved their hot chocolate too. Would definitely stop by again."
