"The lady at the counter is so incredibly friendly. I ordered a bacon sandwich and a hot chocolate with syrup added and it only came to £7 which is incredibly cheap nowadays and it was probably the best bacon sandwich i’ve had. I had a lecture coming up so I wanted a coffee in my flask. Not only did the lady do it without any issues but spoke to me whilst making it and even did little art at the top, and the coffee was probably the best i’ve tasted! Definitely coming back soon"

"Did late night collection. The staff was friendly. Had waffle which was warm, fluffy and absolutely perfect. Will definitely be getting more late night desserts from here. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu."

"I absolutely love this cafe and it is vegan, it is definitely my go to place when in Leicester. The food is sooo delicious and the cakes are mouth watering, and the best part is no animals have been harmed! All of the staff are so lovely and it is situated in a very impressive old building with lots of comfortable seating. It is such a calming atmosphere, and yes it is slightly more expensive but the menu is awesome and the quality of the food/drinks is amazing, you won't be disappointed! Can't wait to come back soon, especially for more cake!"

"Great little indie cafe with some decent vegan options. You can have a vegan sausage sandwich or baguette, or sausage and beans in toast. They have vegan spread marge. Vegan cakes from from Vegan Cakery so include 'cream ' horns, doughnuts, cupcakes and Mille Feuille. Soya milk available for hot drinks. Staff friends and know what 's vegan."

"We had a pretty bad experience. On the positive side, they seem to offer a vegan option as standard for each course and it is clearly marked on the menu. It was £22 for the 2 course Sunday lunch menu, from which all of us ordered. The meat eaters were served large hearty meals with veg bowls on the side, but the vegan option was SO small and there was no protein element at all, it was a small tomato filled with a spoon of couscous, a trunk of broccoli and a small potato rosti. We deleted our plates in 2 minutes. Our family offered to share the veg from their meals, but it wasn't vegan. They had so much food that they couldn't finish everything. There were no pages available to order for us and the menu was presented as if the main course was all you need. We were so hungry when we came home, we both had to eat a complete second lunch later. The dessert was also tiny and there was almost no taste except sugar. Service was a bit abrupt and rushed, but had worse. None of us would go back."
