"Bella Italia may be a chain of restaurants but I have rarely enjoyed a meal there as much as I did at this particular branch of the eatery. The location is very central to the city centre and as such it allows you to fit in a nice meal here around a busy day of shopping and enjoying the many delights of Merseyside. The staff here really impressed me with their attentive nature and the way in which they really seemed to be generally interested in the wants and needs of the customers. We all know the menu here with its Italian classics and as usual they were made to perfection at very reasonable prices. The waiting time here was very short and the place just had a really good ambience which made me feel extremely relaxed as a whole. Basically this place did its best to stand out and a job well done it was too."

"Before starting a week 's holiday in Budapest my twin brother Stephen and my decided to jump the train down from Kirkby to Liverpool City Centre and visit some of the great pubs and bars our city is justifiably famous for and at the top of our list was Brewdog, in my opinion the best bar in Liverpool serving the finest selection of beers. I love the look of this bar, interior is superb, a very cool industrial look to it,great decor and furnishings, superb neon lit features, an eye catching serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside, its just a great bar to chill out in. We got here at roughly midday on a rainy November day ,we were the first customers of the day and could really appreciate what a great looking bar this is ,we had a study of their beer range which is mightily impressive, we started off with Brewdog Brewery punk ipa one of the breweries signature beers ,these ipa 's were served in pristine condition, we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers. This ipa is so good ,light and hoppy, bursting with taste, hints of citrus, a delicious aroma and aftertaste, its not a rocket fuel beer but a very good session ipa ,while sipping our ipa 's we already had our next beer picked out and we both opted for Brewdog Brewery hazy Jane and once again we were served an excellent brew,as tasty as our first ipa we enjoyed, to me this shows that the beers served in here are superb and the staff keeping the beers in great condition and serving the beers to such a high standard have a passion for the beers they provide ,hats off to the cellar persons and bar staff here. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to Brewdog we had a great time. Brewdog Liverpool is easy to locate along Colquitt Street . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you 're in the area."

"Visited recently whilst staying at Brunswick Travelodge. Sited in an old mill, this cafe certainly has atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. The coffee is to die for."

"Ok, it was Boxing Day. So may not be representative. But goodness this was dire. The service was excellent by the way but oh the food... Jacket spud, cheese and beans. Not offered butter. Squeezed in to a container. Soft skin, hard middle. Fair enough, they do Hotdogs. I had a hot dog. Nice bun, large dog. Additional onions (barely cooked), cheese (bland is too strong a description of the flavour), bacon (pre cooked, added cold, not heated) and some weird mayo type sauce slathered on top. The Bun was the best bit. The hot dog was Luke warm and had less texture than porridge. The only thing saving this place were the pleasant staff and cheap price. Any other day with even a second of time to spare would have led me to complain. However my ability to tolerate another second in the hellish dining setting today prevented me. If you're thinking of stopping for a quick bite. DONT"
