"If you are looking for a great dessert in Mount Prospect, look no further than Capanari Ice Cream. My husband and I came here with a Meet-up group to discover a sweet treat. When we got there there was a long line coming out the door and down the stairs. The line moved moderately quickly. We got an ice cream scoop flight to try several flavors. The scoop size for the flight was advertised as baby scoops, but we got full scoops. Needless to say, we were very full by the time we finished. The ice cream was yummy and we liked all four flavors. When you leave the restaurant, you will find a nice little park to eat your ice cream in. I highly recommend Capanari Ice Cream."

"As of three weeks ago, Tasty Donuts is under new management. I have tried many of their donuts and have enjoyed each and every one of them and they are reasonably priced. My favorites are the chocolate frosted buttermilk, maple and bacon, red velvet with and without cream cheese frosting, Boston creme, raspberry filled and apple fritter. My family also enjoys any with sprinkles, long johns and the cinnamon rolls. The new owners have plans to spruce up the place and I look forward to continuing to run in to get our donuts."

"Absolutely recommend anyone to visit this cute brunch place. We called ahead and reserved a table for 11 plus a high chair. When we arrived, the table was ready and we didn't have an issue, everything was set up like we asked. The staff was very friendly and super attentive to our needs. Additionally, the price was very affordable. We were a group of 12, some people ordered alcoholic beverages and our total was about $200. You cannot beat a cheap place with great customer service. I will definitely be going back with other friends."

"I was seeing a job offer and I was amazed I never saw anything so ridiculous put too many demands for miserable salary they practically want a person to do the job of two Which seems unfair to me, I should be ashamed to exploit people with low salaries"

"We stopped here for Paczki on the Monday before Fat Tuesday. Specialty paczki were just under $6 each and we normally pay $2.50 each at a Bakery closer to home for specialty Paczki. Our family of 3 did not think these were that great compared to our regular bakery in Orland Park. They were good but not great as we were accustomed to from our normal bakery but we were in the neighborhood and thought we would give them a try. They are short-handed and had a sign on the door announcing that. I don't believe that affected the taste of the Paczki and service time was only about 20 minutes for us that day. I had the canolli and tiramisu varieties. They were good but not great. Definitely not worth us making a 45 minute drive to just go to this bakery."

"This was the first time I had been there. I had take away orders of the Polish Platter. It was absolutely fantastic we loved everything. Can't wait for the next in person visit and sample other items. The raspberry pierogies were awesome, highly recommend it."

"The service was fast and kind. No wait when we entered Sunday morning 10 am. We ordered the signature biscuits (3 medium sized served with honey), chicken and waffle (came with gravy and egg), and pot roast benedict. Everything was delicious. The biscuits were fluffy, check out the photo of the inside of it. Pot roast in the benedict was amazing, hope it came with more of it. Chicken waffle gravy, you gotta have all three in every bite. I like the fact the waffle was thick, not too sweet and not too dry so it goes well with the chicken. But the batter of the fried chicken was dense. It would be a lot better for the batter.. to be more airy and crispy. Coffee was thin. Overall, will comeback to try more other things on the menu. There was a little bird nest in “O” of the sign. The highlight of the meal"
