"My wife and I had an amazing day in the area with friends and met the local ice shop to finish our evening. The place was busy, but then we remembered it was Saturday. The line went fast and the turnarounds were very reasonable for the volume of people. My Brownie Sundae with Fudge was on site. My wife and I are from the east coast and it was our last time in CA. You could say that this place was good by the crowd of locals in the line. Always a good sign. We'd come back if we came back."

"Sonoma Chocolatiers is west county's premier artisanal chocolate maker. It has won many best of awards and more than deserves them. Whenever I'm in Sebastopol, I always try to stop by for a delicious piece of chocolate or several, and I often purchase gift boxes there because they are simply amazing. David, the owner knows what he's doing and besides being really creative in terms of the flavors he offers, he also makes his chocolates look gorgeous, like little works of art. I love the marzipan, the salt caramels, the 85 cacao nibs truffles and the many other truffles and caramels he offers. Their gluten free muffins, which come in both savory and sweet varieties, are amazing. This summer he started offering non dairy frozen chocolate pops in different flavors. They are huge on two sticks, not one, and come in several delectable flavors. My favorite is the chocolate raspberry, but the Mayan chocolate is also quite wonderful. So when you're in town, I highly recommend stopping by. David is a kind and gentle man with a beautiful heart, yet another reason to visit this west county gem. You won't be disappointed."

"Great place for drinks with friends or family. I came with 4 adults and 2 kids, and it wasn't a problem. They have a large indoor and outdoor space we ate at the picnic tables outside and it was full but not super crowded. You can bring your own food or order from nearby places (we brought ours in ourselves). The only slight frustration is that they were out of a quite a few beers that I wanted to try, but I still enjoyed plenty enough. I appreciated that they do small tasting pours so you can try different things."

"My daughter's favorite place to get frozen yogurt. I don't eat it so I'm going on her recommendation. She is 10 years old and likes it enough that she wanted to ride her bike here from Santa Rosa to get it. The staff is always friendly here and we like to sit outside and enjoy it."
