"Eat here for the first time, I work in a Japanese restaurant I know something or two. As for my experience, prices are the same as for sushi and “hibachi” everywhere. My biggest disappointment was the portion size for the Hibachi, I got the NY steak that it was cooked for perfection, but literally 28 dollars for two bites of rice, a bite of vegetables and a bite of Batter Veggies with your steak, a steak was at least 5oz to wait for the food lasted a while perhaps because it was a person in the back, other than great. And they have half off on some sushi rolls on Tuesday. It's just gonna come back for sushi. Oh, the Gyozas were great. Only too expensive for the hibachi to finish this from the front of the house, we are very welcoming."

"The food was good. The service was bad. Took about 15 minutes after we were seated before our server came over. Also took a little bit after we got our drinks before we were able to order our food. We were seated by the kitchen and several tables walked over to ask for their checks while we were sitting there so it seems to be a restaurant issue, not a server issue."

"Lack of systems or structure really hinders this place from being great. Walk in the front door , no hostess , no greeting , no signage that tells you the happenings are upstairs. Busy as expected on a dc summer Sunday (brunch day) so I made reservations on open table , not honored since again no reception. One server to manage waiting tables, sitting tables, bussing tables and doing bottomless refills (which is non stop and he had to fix the bathroom too. They had a a guy (I don't know what his title possibly could have been in regular clothes (filthy) nothing that mentions he works for the establishment running food and drinks. Just pure chaos but the food is good !! I cannot not take that away from them at all. Most likely will never step foot in here again unless I hear some changes were made."

"This is honestly a really nice teppanyaki/hibachi spot. I feel like they’re perpetually understaffed because I’ve been here twice and even with a reservation it still takes 10-20 minutes to be seated, but that’s not on the employees though. The staff are super friendly and when you are seated, they’re hustling to get your drinks, take appetizer orders, and your entree orders. The chefs are characters, really funny dudes with funny jokes, catch phrases, and holistic interaction with the whole table. The performance and the flames are all very lively! As for the food? It’s pretty solid, no matter your entree order you’ll get some chopped up zucchini (one will be thrown into each patrons mouth, the rest is cooked), onions, and mushrooms; a veggie fried rice, and your entree all cooked up with a garlic compound butter, soy sauce, and whatever seasoning they have in those metal containers. Pretty solid spot! Also, the margaritas are strong AF (although I don’t really drink like that). They also have live Karaoke."
