"Whether you follow a gluten free diet or not, this restaurant offers food of a very good standard in unprepossessing but comfortable surroundings. For those, like me, who usually find themselves restricted to just one or two items on a regular menu, the chance to order anything you choose is a special occasion. More than that, the chance to choose anything you wish and know it's going to taste great is one that is just unmissable. On the edge of this small town, in a light industrial area with plenty of parking, the restaurant is also a convenience story for everything gluten free. The range of products at good prices is very impressive. The seated area is comfortable but not flashy, and the service in this family run establishment is prompt and friendly. The whole restaurant is also immaculately clean. I chose a ravioli dish cooked in sage and butter sauce. You never know what to expect with GF food; sometimes it can be good, but very often it can be worse than poor. This pasta was a generous portion and tasted great. As it was lunchtime, I hadn't planned on eating a desert, but a regular customer adjacent to me (who spoke English some of the staff do too), told me I'd be making a mistake if I didn't try something. I didn't take too much persuading. That guy did me a very big favor as the pistacchio creation that greeted me soon after was absolutely superb. At less than 14 euros for the two courses plus bottled water and espresso coffee, Glutenfreedesi was very good value, but more than that was a pleasure to visit and I'll be back there again very soon. If you or one of your family is on a GF diet and you are in this area, this restaurant is an absolute must. Enjoy!"

"We spent about 12 days on vacation in Italy and we visited plenty of restaurants throughout the country. La Buca was definately the best of all !! The dishes of the traditional Tuscan cusine were so original and tasty as well as the local wine. The service was really good, the atmosphere very relaxing and the prices were very good for the quality offered. We fully recommend this location to everybody viting Tuscan!!! We will come back for sure some time!!"

"This is a lovely place. The chef proprietor and his staff are delightful and the food is very good. You'll find local anti-pasti, interesting pasta dishes and top notch secondi. The desserts are exceptional and I'd recommend eschewing the tradition of hopping off to the local gelateria for dessert and a coffee and having them here instead. Huge wine list where it would appear to be a good idea to keep it local. There's bundles of Chianti on the list and a lovely EUR 32 pinot noir. The whites weren't as plentiful which us is par for the regional course I suppose. We shared an anti-pasti, each had pasta, secondi,a dessert, the above-mentioned wine, coffee and a glass of prosecco to start. It came to EUR 130, or £35,000 by the time you're reading this review."

"Really good Tuscan food, but compared to other places not better as some of the ratings suggest. For instance the bruchetta was partly char-coaled and when we complained, we got the response that this is because of the wood oven and fine to eat... It is also not anymore a small place with a couple of tables but a fairly sizable location. Nevertheless, a nice place for a dinner outside"

"Food was okay, but our party had made a reservation the day before and staff did not have a record of it. Worst of all, they weren't the least bit apologetic about their error. This was the second time that our host had had this happen. Apparently the female half of the couple that runs the place is forgetful. Anyway, between the rude and unapologetic attitude of the staff, the incredibily loud noise level, the dozens of poorly behaved children running loose in the restaurant and the only okay food, I won't be returning."
