"We visited local sights when we fucked into the hype Café/risto in the corner on the via pietro martini in cagliari, sardinien, italien. clean modern. great coffee. great pastries. clean, modern washrooms. it was after we enjoyed our coffee pastries. hiking guides bring groups of tourist. on a corner of beautiful old buildings, this modern café/restaurant was a pleasant surprise. the server was great: he helped us to order in Italian when he was asked. we would definitely recommend hype to others. Note: we also visited the chiesa sant’agostino. it was not on our tourist map. visit the church garden. both are beautiful!"

"Arrived at the restaurant and was greeted by someone from the staff. They asked us to wait while preparing a table for us right where we were standing. When they are done, they just left. We stand there not sure if we can sit down or not. After waiting a few minutes for them to return, which they don’t, we sit down. After a long wait and no one attending to us we have to look up the staff on our own and ask for menus. When we order the food they inform us that one of the dishes has to be min 2 people to order. It doesn’t say so in the menu, but she tells us that’s the case. No, -I’m sorry for your inconvenience or a way to try to fix it. Just -the menu is wrong you have to be 2 people to order it. The food arrives and it’s ok. BUT service is everything and if you feel unwelcome from the moment you arrive until you leave it’s not ok. We did also talk to the staff about our concerns. And their were no effort from them trying to save the situation. I have my own restaurants and have worked in the business for over 20 years and I know that things can go wrong. We are only humans, but if a customer is unhappy, be a bit humble and owe up to your mistakes and do not come with an attitude that it’s not your fault. When we paid the bill it just felt sad to spend so much money on a bad experience."
