"For a little neighborhood restaurant, Villa Mozart can compete with the best of downtown DC. I loved my tuna tartare, which tasted fresh and had a hint of sesame oil. My rack of lamb was exquisite. Three large chops were coated in parmesan and flawlessly prepared, rare, juicy and tender. It was easy the best rack of lamb I have ever eaten . It was served on a crunchy race-cake bed, similar to the prized rice at the bottom of a Chinese rice cooker but better. The silken puree of green peas was so delectable I wished there 'd been more. The only negative was the basil sponge that accompanied a richly chocolate mousse. Both the texture and flavor of the sponge was like putting dandelion fluff in your mouth. I 'd have preferred more mousse and no sponge. This is definitely a restaurant I will recommend to others."

"The extended restaurant week of Fairfax City was the basis for our tendency to dinate in Bellissimo, which is one of our favorites. The menu "Prix Fixe" was another drawing. Wine list is another reason, and the service is always stellar."

"I loved the free corn muffins bread at the beginning. The lobster ravioli is a must and the lobster bisque. Service was full of mistakes and was quite a wait for server to come, but we might have gone during rush hour dinner time. Portions were just okay for the price, nothing special. I had higher expectations due to the reviews?the asparagus didn?t even come out warm. I recommend sitting outdoors if the weather is nice."

"Traveling for business a few weeks ago and wandered in for dinner. The food and drinks were a-mazing (ask to try the homemade limoncello! . But the best part was the kind hospitality of the staff and manager. I sat at the bar, and by the end of the evening was envious of some of the regulars because it was like ?Cheers.? Highly recommend, and can?t wait to go again when I?m in town again. Check out that crazy wood-fired oven!!"

"A wonderful place with AMAZING food, attentive staff, and a delightfully calm atmosphere. The bread was incredibly fresh with a perfect crust. For the dishes I had: The ceasar salad had a delicious, obviously from scratch dressing. The butternut squash ravioli with the sage butter sauce was *to die for* incredible flavor and something that inspires savoring. This restaurant doesn't mess around or skimp out on quality. If you want delicious food for a reasonable price, this is the place."
