"The place is very nice, and its fresh, uncomplicated look keeps appealing to me. The food was really nice, though, speaking of„geroster polpo” the taste of the sardine was hardly perceivable and it was quite difficult to make the point…. – Otherwise the dish was perfect, with the mouthmelting octopus…. The fish dish was delicious – the turbot was cooked to perfection and the sweet and sour chutney matched it perfectly. – The dish was very light and incredibly pleasant to eat… The sort of you can`t stop smiling while eating… I was delighted with my dessert – the „Ab durch die Hecke 2.0” – It was all that a perfect dessert was about: to enliven the taste buds after a nice meal. – It was fersh in taste – due to the berry sorbet and the clover ice cream, with some berry fruit and sorrel leaves. What did strike me about it, was the perfect balance of sweetness (little merengues and crumble) and acidity. Towards the end of the meal I asked for a cup of coffee and got one with a selection of delicious hand made pralines. – Pretty the same in shape and types sa the last year, thou the taste of which I found more sophisticated. As always, during the meal we got some delicious extras. – I really liked the black olive butter and the acidic quil eggs served for the starter, byt it was the caviar dish that stole my heart completely… The combination of cheese and cream together with one of the finest kinds of caviar was absolutely delicious…. They still seem to have a problem with the wine paring. The cotes du Rhone did not flatter the pigeon dish at all, which was why I preferred a glass of merlot instead. What is more, the The sauvignon blanc from Marlborough that I was offered with the fish was not as fruity and aromatic as expected, in comparison with other brands of this vine I know. – In my opinion, any stronger fruityness would not kill the sweetish aromas of the dish but could expose the fruitiness of the chutney and corriander … On the whole, the experiene was excellent, though, if Michelin stars` standards are to be considered, there are stil issues to work on."

"Ambiente und Service ohne jeden Makel. Wir hatten fünf Gänge ausgewählt, darunter Jakobsmuscheln, Steinpilz- und Kürbissuppe, Zitronen- und Kürbisrisotto, Kalbsleber und Weiderind in Rotwein, zum Dessert ein Zitronensorbet. Als Wein einen Proschwitzer Goldriesling, dann, als Roten einen Clos Hermitage Lalande de Pomerol aus einer gut sortieren Weinkarte - noch ohne Sommelier zu bewältigen. ganz großes Plus: Eine Kritik an einem Gang (die Kalbsleber war so richtig krachen trocken durchgebraten) wurde sehr ernst genommen und ein neues Stück Leber serviert, diesmal perfekt! Ohne jegliche Diskussion. Super und Hut ab, das habe ich schon anders erlebt. Sonst alles gut bis sehr gut, nur über das Risotto sollte der Koch noch einmal nachdenken."
