"We stopped at the Kanata restaurant on the Valle Blanche side of Les Alpes. Gorgeous setting and we lucked out because the sun was shinning every day. Massive helping of delicious food. I loved there Ravioli in mushroom sauce. Also their Vin Chaud is...the best I've tasted. The restaurant can get very busy very quickly and watching the staff cope was like poetry in motion. Fast and efficient and no matter how busy you always got your food promptly."

"This is a cosy restaurant. A section of the menu allows you to grill your own food on a charcoal grill which is placed on your table. I ordered the dish with chicken and was surprised that I was served a dish with raw chicken meat and salad placed on the same dish. The raw chicken meat was served on the same plate which afterwards should be used for the salad and the grilled meat. Maybe I am a bit conservative, but this violates some basic rules on how raw chicken meat should be handled."

"Had an average meal in the restaurant, fairly small place but service was ok because of this. My main was a pepperoni pizza which lacked topping and cheese which was amusing due to the abundance of it on the menu! My girlfriend had the ravioli which tasted ok but was probably bought in and not homemade. The ravioli itself was very small as was the portion which meant leaving hungry even after dessert. Probably wouldn't go back as I'm sure there is better around."
