"We had been searching for a neighbourhood restaurant and this place was fantastic. Lovely staff, great food, fed the seafood expert and the child who only wanted food. They were so busy but never made us feel we were in the way. Loved it, proper food, surrounded by Italian families. Take a phrasebook or your phone in case they lovely English speaking waiter isn't working. It's best to reserve a table if you're a tourist as there are queues of local people waiting to eat what more recommendation do you need?"

"I came to Sicily to track down my roots. I need go no further than this ristorante. Traditional Siciliano cuisine like mia nonna used to make. The bucatini alla Norma is a local dish that will fill your belly and soothe your soul. My wife had the ravioli pistachio which was made from scratch on premise. The ravioli was light as a feather and the sauce was unique and flavorful. Tutti e buoni."

"Don’t really understand the bad revues although many quite old. We ate here for a quick lunch and had not checked tripadvisor first. We did not want pizza and found their seafood menu good. Can recommend mussels, swordfish and prawn fettuccine. Service excellent. Staff very helpful."
