"We were very lucky getting the last available table on the day of our arrival in Zurich ... and enjoyed the evening very much. The food was really delightful. Well presented and very tasty. The owner and her staff was very professional and nice to work with. A nice wine list completed the experience. Although the first time for us ... certainly not the last time when we return next year."

"While the name is James Joyce it’s about the only thing that’s Irish about this place. Despite being quiet staff were slow to serve at the bar and later when we sat away from the bar as they were in discussions with what were obviously regular punters. Was appalled when one member of staff picked up a customers dog and cuddled and actually kissed it. Then picked up glasses, left them behind the bar, went into what appears to be the food area and immediately came out chewing food, I presume, and the served drink behind the bar. No washing of hand that we could see.. Needless to say we didn’t have any further drink and left. Thankfully we didn’t have food."

"We had dinner there in May. It was A four or five course menu. We chose the wine pairing,which was the best idea of the evening. The location of the restaurant is quite hidden, the special thing is the open view in the kitchen which...is localised in between the tables. I really liked the ambiente and the light. Perfect restaurant for dinner as a couple or with friends. Food was special and very well assembled with plenty of details. I m looking forward to have dinner there again."
