"Very rude and dishonest. Came in and was given 2 different menu 's. Pointed and ordered from the lunch menu for £8.95, after eating the bill then arrived for £12.95, I queried this to be told that I ordered from the dinner menu. I explained that I did not and that at no point did anyone explain or notify me that I was going to be charged more. I was then left with the bill until I asked again for it to be amended to the advertised price. At this point the lady (owner) became rude and said 'you should be thankful you had a bigger meal '. I explained that it was the principle, not the price and that it was dishonest. She then continued to be rude and ridicule me as I left the restaurant in front of other paying customers. A shame really as the food here is quite good but the level of disrespect and dishonesty was really unpleasant."

"Excited about your new take over and we started by tying all the portions that failed us by the past owners. But the ribs although fatter were very under cooked as before and the sauce was just slightly less solid. The lemon chicken is now very bland. The basic fried rice lacks seasoning. We were told the prawn crackers were 2.00 a bag and we had to pay /order over 25 quid to get them free. The shop is the same. Cash only for now. And the gentleman that served us was un inviting at only 8.30pm .? Is this another deliver dependan establishment t ? We locals looked forward to this being new refreshed takeaway and recently rejoiced that we have a decent real ale pub and a refurbished Take away. But for now we will expect it will carry the same press as it always has. Maybe COVID taught us all the to cook and make meals from other places is not that difficult . So come up with something we can't now do or at least be inviting when we do decide to enter your establishment. Currently happy with cheese on toast"
