"Incredible sushi near stadium chinatown station.We had the yum yum crunchy roll, which is avocado, yam tempura, cream cheese with some sweet soy sauce and crispy yam tempura sprinkled on top and it was one of the best vegetarian special rolls I've had in my life.They also serve hot green tea before your meal, and have a nice selection of Japanese beer and soju.Try them out!"

"What a welcome everytime you go into this Japanese restaurant. It is a small location and not always easy to get a seat at prime time but well worth the wait. You can also call in for delivery if you can't wait.Popular with locals in the area and always fresh fresh. Great service and as I said you are welcomed. Take the time to review your options but everything from Teryaki to sushi is fresh. Welcomed with a cup of tea and they will always give you a free sample from the sushi bar. It could be anything...I always have the Dynamite Roll and this time I had the Caterpillar Roll (extremely good)...and the Nova Scotia roll with Lobster. I loved the Caterpillar roll and the miso soup and side dishes..like the teryaki multi fries...It is consistent and welcoming....HIghly recommend."

"DO NOT BOTHER GOING HERE ANYMORE! Sushi ville was always our go to. We just ordered a full order of spicy salmon sashimi with the sauce on the side. The picture below is the portion. It looks like 2 pieces of sashimi cut up into smaller pieces. This was $16.95. I went back and asked the lady and she said this is their portion everyday, not a problem. This is normal daily I will probably never waste my time here ever again. Every other sushi place Ive visited recently has about 4x the size for a full order of sashimi around $16-20. Hopefully they bring their quality back to before until then I will not be coming here again."

"Last week I went to Sun Sushi with a friend (my treat) and we shared dishes: a generous wakame salad, spider (soft-shelled crab) tempura and a plate of gyoza. (I'd had a chirashi-don the day before and was carbo-loading for a track meet When...the cheque came it totalled only I thought they had mistakenly split the bill! Seriously, a Japanese dinner for two usually costs nearly twice that, especially in Vancouver, and ESPECIALLY if it's excellent, as Sun Sushi always is."

"This is one of my go-to lunch options in the neighbourhood with my kids. The sushi isn't the best in the city by any means but the kids like it and the value and speed of service is better that many. Their Teriyaki Bento boxes are excellent value: assorted tempura (3 veg & 1 shrimp), salad, california roll and choice of chicken or beef teriyaki on rice + miso soup for $8.95I also really like their Gommae and the pork gyoza. Service is often perfunctory but food comes hot and fast."

"Really terrific sushi! My favourite place on the West Side for sushi. Especially love the rose roll, the specialised garden bowl, and the aburi! Great service as well. I would recommend this place to anyone. My friends and I eat at Red Tuna weekly."

"Very good menu selection. Sort of a Korean-Japanese fusion. Food quality is good. Portion size is appropriate, and presentation is attractive, if not overly artistic. Service is friendly. Comfortable dining area. Prices are very reasonable. It's become our go-to sushi restaurant. I think they recently did a minor renovation and the dining area is modernized and quite attractive. It continues to be one of our preferred restaurants."
