"Really pleased with everything I’ve had there so far! I’ve gotten carry-out and order ahead cupcakes and they are always extremely satisfying. Some other favorites are the peanut butter chocolate layer cookie and the donuts. The staff are kind and on one or two occasions were happy to serve us even after they had closed. The savories are good too, but I go for the sweets. I avoid gluten, dairy, soy and egg and it’s nice to be able to buy baked goods instead of having to make them all the time."

"Learning to make Macarons was awesome. I learned a lot and had fun the entire time (and I've never really baked anything before). It's definitely something nice to do on a weekend or for a cute date. Do yourself a favor and take the class!"

"I came here from out of town. When you Google things to eat in Pittsburgh this bakery pops up. So you betcha I got that burnt almond torte. It was good. Definitely not a cake I 've ever had. We also got other little items. How do I put this delicately... Hmmmm... This place is a sugar bomb. I like sugar!! So it didn 't really bother me, but I 'm unsure if they are highly skilled bakers or anything. They could just be coasting on their reputation and hiding things with a coat of powdered sugar. Staff was nice and helpful and the store was clean. A little mismatched on the decor but whatever. Parking was a biiiitttccchhhhh though. So overall, come here to be a tourist."

"My first time having brunch at the Mansions on Fifth and it was very good. They had a pre fixe menu instead of a buffet but there was also the choice to order from the standard menu. The food and service were very good. We arrived early and had a chance to look around the hotel. The woodwork and stained glass in the mansion are stunning. I highly recommend the experience."
