"Wow!! The BEST coffee and pastry place in Portland, period! The second I walked in the door I was greeted with such kindness and excitement. I met the son of the family business as well as his mother who make all of the pastries daily. They couldn't have been nicer! I tried Macaroon pistachio latte, with a twist of blended macaroon spices (so delicious! . I was hesitant, but glad I tried something new. Absolutely divine! Sat outside to enjoy the beautiful cool, sunshine and view of the park. Nothing like this in Alabama or anywhere I’ve traveled thus far. This entire area was very urban and had great vibes, regardless of the city your in lol Probably the best day during my visit!"

"Food arrived 40 minutes later than they said for a total of 1 hour and 40 minute wait time (I live in the same town).Food arrived Cold as stone. Denied a refund on my “warm cookies” that where in fact not warm or gooey.For what it is, and what it’s worth. Your better off putting cake batter into a waffle iron and making it yourself fresh.Knowing some of them personallyI would also like to point out that several of the 5 star ratings are parents of employees who get discounted/ free food. and the owners/ employees themselves."

"I heard about Two Fat Cats Bakery through a Portland, ME facebook group. When we arrived to pick up our order, we were glad that they had their own parking lot. They are a bakery that sells sweet and savory pies, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, whoopie pies, breakfast pastries (e.g., scones, muffins, cinnamon buns), egg bakes, local honey, local coffee beans, and tea bags. My order consisted of 6 chocolate chip cookies, 6 lemon shortbread, two 7' blueberry pies, and a slice of sour cherry pie. Between the two cookies, I liked the lemon shortbread cookies more. I liked how the lemon shortbread were glazed with a lemon icing and decorated with colorful sprinkles. I liked how the fruit filling had notes of sugar, spices, and nuts and how the pie crust was crispy and flaky. The sour cherry pie had a nice lattice pie top."

"@teresabliving Loved the space! Street parking, order at the bar, get your own water. All the photos are of ground level then there is a dark, red velvet dining area and bar downstairs. I would go back for the burger and fries right now. Decent burger selection. Great specials for shot and beer. Happy hour 4-8 M-F. Loved their playlist too. See you soon!"
