"We booked a last minute reservation while visiting Dallas last weekend, and it did not disappoint! First of all, the staff stole the show. They were extremely knowledgeable and kind. You could tell they want you to have an incredible experience. Second, the view and ambiance is perfect. Not too loud, but not boringly quiet or stuffy. We could hear the piano and live singer downstairs and it was lovely. Lastly, the food!! We had the shrimp cocktail to start some of the best shrimp I’ve ever had. Then split an 8oz fillet and 1lb of king crab legs. We also got the lobster Mac, broccoli, and mushrooms. All were delicious. Lastly, we ordered the chocolate cake which was amazing. (I’m pregnant, so food is important! My husband joined me in my sober experience and we both tried mocktails which were excellent. It was a 10/10 dinner."

"For the 2nd year in a row we celebrated our anniversary at Truluck's in the Arboretum. Jason was our waiter for the evening. He did a really good job guiding us through our meal. We were never rushed and it felt like we could have just spread it out as long as we wanted. We started off slow with some crab claws and followed that with some oysters. The oysters may have been the best I've ever had. The crab claws were better than I expected. I generally like my crab warm so it was different. I enjoyed them too and would order them again. For our entrees, I had the Pontchartrain and my wife had the seared tuna. Both were absolutely amazing! We also got the parmesan bread which was incredible too. And then as Truluck's does, they helped us celebrate with their baked alaska that is flambe'd at the table. A great way to cap off the meal. Once it was all said and done, it was actually cheaper than last year. Not sure how that was managed but I'm not complaining. Would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion."

"That was our first time in Peche and it was good. The ambience was great, alive, with many beautiful people. Zoe has done us a wonderful job. All we had was absolutely delicious (I had the onion tart as an appetizer, followed by the vegetarian aubergine Napoleon and my wife had Escargots as an appetizer and the foie gras with grits as a entree). Of course, I had to have one of their absinthe cocktails, because it's an absinthe bar that I had the absinthe god that was very good. Another jewel from Austin you have to try."

"The service was great! The food was nasty. I eat a lot of sushi from a lot of different places, it is the only thing I crave! HahaIt was not good sushi at all! The rice with the Nigiri pieces was off, dry and,old. It was not fresh at all! The fish on top was not in the slightest firm. It was mushy and tasted as if it was frozen not fresh! The other 5 rolls were just tasting way off, either the flavor was not there or it tasted gross for many reasons. I usually can eat a lot and the only reason I stop is because I can't eat another bite, but here I didn't want to eat another bite because it did not taste good! The tea was good. The stuff not sushi related was so so. Nobody at the table finished their food so take that for what it's worth. I will not go back. Two stars because the service really was great."
