"Nice little 'hole in the wall ' restaurant. It was our first time trying Guatemalan food, it 's a bit like Mexican but different too. We had the sampler platter which was good, the guacamole was fresh but not too flavourful. My wife had the Paella which was decent. The pork tacos were great. Overall a nice place to definitely visit once and try!"

"I lived in California for 12 years before moving to Cleveland recently, and I was taken aback at how bastardized fusion taco bars seemed to be what many folks consider to be Mexican cuisine here. Ummm, no. Fortunately, there 's more to Latinx cuisines than just Mexican fare (or what people think it 's supposed to be here in the Land). If you 're never explored Salvadorean cuisine before, there 's a certifiably authentic option in the form of Pupuseria Katarina here on the Cleveland Parma border, near the critical junctures of Routes 480, 176, and 77. As the name implies, pupusas are one of the specialties here. They 're the Salvadorean national dish and look like pancake sized corn flour or rice flour pockets from the outside. Inside, they can be stuffed with whatever yummy fillings you 'd like, like the revuelta (fried pork, refried beans, cheese). Combining the chewy, moderately dense texture of a hot, fresh corn (or rice) flour pocket with equally hot and fresh savory fillings makes for a super comforting meal, especially here in the Land during the colder months. For all the effort involved in stuffing these pockets, they 're quite inexpensive, at about $3 each. Other irresistible options include tostones (fried plantains), tacos, and entrees with steak, chicken, or seafood. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient when I stopped by with lots of room to dine inside and a steady stream of folks getting their stuff to go. A fantastic find thanks to a Yelp search!"
