"Had Lunch today for the first time in years. Figured the place was average. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. Had Tacos al Carbon enchiladas. They were delicious. Meat was well seasoned and tender. Chili gravy was better than Tony's Mexican. For real, not exaggerating. Refried beans and spanish rice were as good as any. Ate the whole thing. Check it out."

"We visited museen in the district and saw this place. we tried it because of its favorable situation. overall the environment is a bit overcrowded. I ordered fish tacos combo. I was happy with my tacos, but not with the side. there were three good size tacos and the taste was good. I went back and forth between 4 and 5 stars. I ended with 5, because the service was fast and the amount of food generous. my man had rinderfajita tacos and they were also good. we'd probably eat again if we're back in town."

"The food was great. I got the Sheree’s Plate—the shrimp brochette and taco al carbon were delicious. The chicken mole enchilada was a bit flavorless. Beans and rice were good. We ordered sopapillas—delicious but too much for two people; more suitable for four. The food was quite good.The ambience, however, was lacking. Noisy and crowded, the tables were quite small and the chairs were extremely uncomfortable. There is no lingering in this place.Service was decent but you had to ask for everything: sweetener, salt and pepper, check. Honestly, everything felt very rushed. Not a very pleasurable experience."

"We've been to Caracol so we decided to check out Hugo's and wow. We were so impressed with all the dishes and the presentation the crispy duck dish was out of this world! We will for sure be back again for more. Our server, Liz was wonderful."
