"La Taqueria has their new location on Hornby Street, which has 90 seats and also offers counter service for convenient food on the go. Happy Hour runs from 3pm–6pm daily with $4 Margaritas to toast the end of a long workday. This location is the largest of all their locations. You will find the same delicious tacos and burritos."

"Wonderful place in the heart of Edgemont village. Easy online reservation, took into consideration my request for seating, the waiter was a super nice guy, friendly and humorous in the perfect way (just the right amount of wit with impeccable service). It was Monday night, so it was not too busy, super pleasant and delicious. Will definitely be back. Thank you so much."

"Nice joint on commercial. They support great social justice work. The food is delicious but not cheap. Staff was friendly and accommodating. This place is always busy with good reason. We'll go back"

"This place is awesome! Haven't had a dish I haven't liked! Cash only, so come prepared, and you won't regret it! The ladies who run this place are amazing at what they do! The tacos and papoosa's are mouth watering. My partner and I always leave with full bellys and take whoever we can here."

"Can 't help but like it. There were three tables of twosomes when we arrived. One was in the midst of eating, one was already done and one waiting for their food. It still took longer than it ought to for us to get our orders. However, I appreciated that they brought out the kid 's order first in reasonable time. A while later, our second order came out, then a while after that, the third. By this time I was somewhat irritated. I find timing dishes one of the most challenging aspect of cooking so when I 'm paying supposed professionals to cook, I expect them to time things better than I can!<br/ <br/ So I was predisposed to be negative about my carnitas enchilada with red sauce and indeed, upon the first taste of the first bite I started to think 'I don 't like it '. But before I could complete the thought, it had already morphed into... this is rather tasty! The tender carnitas had good flavor and the red sauce was savoury with a nice bit of heat that didn 't overpower. There was a generous amount of sauce and the three enchiladas were topped with crisp fresh shredded lettuce and perfect drizzle of sour cream. <br/ <br/ Refried beans and rice were served on the side. I thought the first bite of rice bland but, again, as I completed the bite, I changed my mind and noticed a smooth saltiness to it that was hard to describe but was tasty. I 'm a big sauce person and normally I would have dumped the rice into the enchilada sauce but I found myself not wanting to cover up the rice flavor. By this point, I realized my quickly changing opinions had to do with the distinctive tastiness of the food. That first bite is a bit of a surprise, leading to that common human instinctual response of rejecting the unexpected (thanks to our cavemen ancestors learning that 'different ' or 'new ' can often be dangerous). Thankfully, my modernly developed brain quickly recognized that the Adelitas 'different ' is yummy and good. With this understanding, I dug into the refried beans but after several bites, I had to acknowledge that this time, the 'different ' just isn 't my thing. The beans weren 't bad, but its distinctive flavor just ain 't my thing.<br/ <br/ Had a bite of the shredded beef burrito and I didn 't care for it. Again, the beef had a distinctive taste, reminded me of sausage somewhat and it didn 't seem to be great quality beef. Definitely happy I ordered carnitas.<br/ <br/ Kid 's chicken and cheese soft tacos was piled with hearty portion of chicken and a bit of cheese. Kid 's chicken quesadilla had a more generous serving of cheese and was hotter overall. Both dishes were proclaimed tasty.<br/ <br/ The restaurant menu didn 't show any drink options but I noticed the takeout menu had a whole section of juices, smoothies, pop, etc.<br/ <br/ Only one young lady serving but she was friendly and efficient. There appeared to be two people in the kitchen. The place is small (4 tables for 4, 2 tables for 2) and it is definitely hard to find. We only found it because we had the exact address as it wasn 't recognizable as a restaurant from the outside. Note they only take cash or debit."

"I've had tortilla soup a number of times, but never like this. It was basically a hot coloured broth with a lot of red pepper flakes or chili bits. A few tortilla chips were floating on the top, having just been added, along with a small amount of cheese and a dollop of avocado. Terrible. I took 2 spoonfuls and threw it out. What a waste of money. I didn't bother going back to complain because the 2 people who served me were anything but friendly, and basically seemed pretty apathetic. Go to the Soup Meister on the other side of the market."
