"Arrived early on a Sunday to get a table- wise decision! Service was prompt however we were asked multiple tables me by multiple waiters various questions, communication between the service staff need to be improved. The food was beautiful. Quick, fresh and great size meals....Beautiful, everyone was thrilled and couldn’t fault their meals. We had the French toast dish, sautéed mushrooms dish, special breakfast dish and scrambled eggs with bacon. We did get told to move on from the table, which is understandable on a weekend but disappointing when you are catching up with friends. Just little things to note but would definitely return."

"I visited Rudimentary today with a group of friends; travelled all the way from Moorabbin to eat here as we were told good reviews. Absolutely nothing to rave about - food was average, coffee was average. I couldn't tell whether the staff working there were genuine or condescending as I watched them serve customers with smiles but openly discuss and judge customers behind the counter with one another. Wouldn't go back again, nothing special or significant about Rudimentary."

"Seriously the best Reuben in Melbourne. Every ingredients was a really high quality that came together perfectly. Others at my table had empanadas, burgers, fries and a milkshake everything was fantastic. Oh and the onion rings were great. Highly recommended for a relaxed Sunday lunch with friends."
