"Fossix Coffee is the sister store to John Smith Cafe. Really enjoyed my Cappuccino $3.50) using Seasonal House Blend. Friendly barista really knows what his doing. Nice flavour and strength. There's a good variety of cakes and pastries to tempt with most of them made in house except for the famous gluten free cakes from Little Secrets Bakehouse. Limited seating but enough to have a quick bite or coffee solo or with a mate. Friendly staff, nice fit out and some reasonably priced breakfast and lunch eats on the menu. Thanks @a_man_and_his_sandwich for the coffee tip."

"I love this place polished concrete benches, tight but convivial stools, funky library table lights nouveau minimalist chic. The coffee is tops, service slick, and they introduced me to Panela sugar makes everything better."

"So happened to come across in Chifley Sq and passing by was not an option. Rueban is a tasty sandwich but often all too disappointing but not here. Its flavour country. The pastrami is the bomb. Beautiful Smokey flavour and not over seasoned which is a common flaw. The kraut, dressing and cheese are all quality flavours but its about the pastrami! They pastrami & mustard on rye also sample (see above... Pastrami = winner). If any criticism is that its a little small but given the flavour, ill take the hit"

"The fitout is very appealing. Interesting crockery. Avocado on toast disappointing - it seemed measly. Either plate was too large or quantity too small. Nice coffee. Please don't remove my plate/cup until my dining companion has also finished their meal. Great artwork at other end of the arcade."

"This place is everything I could possibly want in a bar - hidden, groovy without being tiresomely hip, friendly, and full of tasty delights.
I can't"

"We had a dining credit as part of our hotel package so decided to spend it here. The fish and chips were amazing with really crispy chips and lots of tartare sauce. We had a Singapore curry too and the made it not so spicy. In COVID times, you order through an app so bring your phone along. Prices are on the high side but the venue is pleasant."

"After reading the reviews on here I was interested in trying this place for breakfast. Located next to the BNP Paribas building.

I entered here and sat myself down but the staff were very busy dealing with a mass of customers. I waited for a while to get my menu but once they served me they were quite friendly. I ordered a Chai Latte first then decided I wanted to have the Baked Eggs. I was wondering where my drink and food was as waited for ages as saw someone from another table get their beverage first. Luckily for me my eggs and chai latte came out right after. My bread was brought out after I started eating my eggs (they also did not ask me my choice of bread which luckily I got sourdough). The eggs were a bit overcooked for my liking but enjoyed the flavours of the tomato and bacon. The latte was nice.

I think had they had more staff or were less busy it might've been a different experience but due to the deluge of takeaway customers some of the dine in people got neglected."
