"Location: Restaurant is located is a lovely area. An old barn was converted into the restaurant today years back. Restaurant has a lot of character and very pleasant. Service: Excellent service from the staff and minimal delays during delivery of drinks and various food...courses. Food: We chose the set menu. The starters were excellent, very tasty and well presented. As a treat we also sampled some bean soup which was very, very good. Main meals of steak (Sirloin, Ribeye) were grilled as requested, however the quality of the steak was a little disappointing. Puddings (Apple pie Ice cream) were delicious. Value: Value for money for the courses. Would recommend as lovely place for dining out."

"Stayed in Tintern for our little post anniversary getaway and walked past this a few times, so thought we’d try it for our evening meal. Great portion sizes, proper tasty pub food and lovely ambience. Service was impeccable and the staff were really, really friendly. Shame it’s not open again before we go home."
