"A few days before silvester had still searched for a restaurant after an event in the hospitable and in front of fireworks around the peace angel. we came to the hotel ritzi, which still had free term. pleasant somewhat older and international publikum, very pleasant noise level. had chosen us for the 5-course silvester menu. everything very exciting and varied, especially the main course with rucksacks was very delicious. very good and attentive, almost perfect service. only at the end of 23:30 a little slowing, ok, so shortly before the end of the year there is surely one or other to prepare. but overall a very pleasant and successful evening."

"I have been to the location in the west end multiple times and I have never had a bad experience. We have talked the resturant up so much when our friends from Stuttgart came they said we want to go to Grill & Grace. Since the West End location is not open on sundays we made a reservation here. When we walked in we were not greeted immedately. When someone did come they gave us a choice of two tables all the way in the back of the resturant. About 5 minutes later a family came to set in the other table next to us. Not sure if it was because they had two children or not, but the waitress helped them first. Which I thought was rude. Ok maybe I can get over it. We then place our order. Of course the other table got their appetizers and their steaks first. When we got up to the grill there were already a bunch a people around. Not an issue. about 3 minutes later we were given instructions on how to cook the steak then walked away. In all the times I went to the West End location, they always stayed with us to ensure perfection. In the end, one steak was not as done to perfection as it could have been. Then we get back to the table and no sides, we had to wait about 5 minutes or so to received the side and sauces. Meanwhile the steaks are getting cold. Then we waited to order drinks and more sauce . Finally the drinks came but not the sauce. In the end we never got the sauce because they were making more, (if we had waited the steak raeally would have been cold). As we were leaving we saw a sign for more help. to be honest for the prices, the service should be top notch and it wasnt. It is a sheme because this is the only impression our friends have."

"Die Osteria Moderna liegt in einem Gebäude der sog. Lenbachgärten, der angeblich teuersten Wohnanlage Münchens. Das hübsch und modern möblierte Lokal verfügt über eine wunderbare Terrasse, die ebenfalls schön ausgestattet wurde. Die Speisekarte ist recht kurz, und kommt über Standardgerichte nicht hinaus. Die bestellte Insalata Caprese bestand aus einer einzigen Tomate, die in Scheiben aufgeschnitten und mit Scheiben von Mozzarella gefüllt wurde; der Strunk in der Tomate wurde nicht entfernt. Kann man für 10,50 € vielleicht nicht erwarten. Die Calamari vom Grill waren gut, die Portion aber klein und teuer, ca. 18 €. Während man also mit der Location sehr gut, mit dem Essen noch ganz gut zurecht kommt, erscheint der Service rundherum problematisch. Die Frage, welches Mineralwasser ausgeschenkt werde, konnte von der bedienenden Dame nicht beantwortet werden. Ohnehin brachte sei keine Begrüßung über die Lippen sondern hielt uns mit einem Bitteschön die Speisekarte verkehrt herum hin. Auch das Nachlegen von Besteck für den zweiten Gang war eine größere Herausforderung, es landete "irgendwie" auf dem Tisch; dass man dem einen Gast den leeren Teller nicht abräumt, während der andere noch isst, hat sich leider in die Osteria Moderna noch nicht herumgesprochen. Fazit: Hübsches Lokal, schöne Lage, Essen noch steigerungsfähig, aber nicht schlecht, dem Service fehlen Ausbildung und Führung."
