"The food and the staff were pretty good, but when we arrived, we were told that the kitchen went to finish in 15 minutes, so we quickly and less than an hour after that they were our table in an effort to move us out to close them. our booking e-mail said we had the table for an hour, but we were hardly an hour there and we were rushed all the time."

"Had the PigNWhistle burger and chips with a Southern and coke. Both the Burger and Chunky chips were great but the order took a long time and by the time it arrived the food was a little cool. Will give them another try when next in the area."

"We were first-time diners at H2O with rather high expectations. It was early and only a few others in the restaurant so far. We arrived promptly on time and were shown to our table by a very pleasant guy, who after seating us said he would just grab us some iced table water and be back. That was the last we saw of him sadly. After 10 or so minutes of looking at the beverage menu, I left the table and went up to the bar. I asked if I could order drinks there and they advised that it was table service but as I explained, no one had been near us. No apologies but they took my order there and then and delivered it straight to our table a few minutes later. All good. Eventually, we had to hail down someone to take a meal order as once again we were ignored. All good. The food arrived in good time, was nicely presented and my wife loved it. I'm just a plain food eater so I didn't really enjoy it but that's me, not the restaurant! We will go back again, but I will try to see if I can get something a little less spicy or garlicky. (once again my problem not the restaurant! Then I will be able to ascertain whether this is a quality restaurant or just a cafe masquerading as one. (restaurants can make changes to a menu whereas cafes are unable mostly! Also, Restaurants use trained, organised staff with a good knowledge of the menu and wines whereas cafes use casuals and backpackers. As I said previously we will go back just to find out if they were just having a bad staffing night. The location ect is fabulous so has great potential."

"Ordered steak , mash and vegies with sauce which was awesome steak cooked to my liking. But the veggies were a bit sad. My partner ordered chicken with cheese and tomato sauce, jalapeno, salad and chips on the side. Chicken was not very hot when it arrived. sauces poured on the top was not very hot either, Kinda Luke warm, so it was a let down. Cheese sauce didn't taste that great , more tasted like cheap sliced cheese melted on top. We ordered another side of chips while eating but it was way over cooked. We were there for quick lunch so didn't have the time provide any feedback on the spot. Customer service was good , servers were very nice. Presentation of food was good. Overall not too bad. Need more care around good quality food I guess."
