"Da quando abbiamo provato il Burger di Billy the Butcher, difficilmente mangiamo burger in altri locali ad Amburgo. E' tutto preparato da loro, a partire dal pane e ad arrivare alle salse. Le cipolle caramellate, uno degli ingredienti del burger, sono qualcosa di eccezionale, hanno un sapore molto delicato che sposa benissimo con tutto il resto. Vi consiglio di provare anche le patatine fritte; io le prendo sempre con la salsa al tartufo."

"Visually, the restaurant has an unprepossessing exterior. It is located under the pedestrian bridge between the rail station and the waterfront and could easily be overlooked as just a cafe So, Ocean doesn't appear to sell itself, but do give it a try. The staff...are on top of their game. We were greeted warmly and the vibe inside the restaurant is modern, quality and comfortable. There aren't many tables inside, so it's wise to book. The Open Table' system, via their website, works well and even though we only booked an hour ahead, the staff had already checked the account and knew we were coming. The menu has an attractive selection ... one of us had a very competent (and generous) feta salad, while the other had a most agreeable rib-eye steak. The meals including the Bruschetta and home made dip were tasty and beautifully prepared. All in all, a really positive experience. Full praise to Raquel, whose attentive efficiency made the evening pass so well. Don't hesitate go. It's much more than it seems."

"Visiting a friend in Ellerbek, a short bus train ride out from Hamburg, we were spoilt for choice of where to eat but decided to try this steakhouse in a quaint thatched building. The restaurant has a great décor, with fresh food on display,...and our waiter was excellent. Our steaks were very tasty and cooked to perfection, with plenty of good beer to wash them down, we would certainly be happy to come back for another meal any time."
