"I was turned on to this restaurant by my brother who could not stop going on and on about his place.This restaurant is located in a very unassuming strip mall. The parking is adequate.As we walked in we were greeted by a very talented keyboardist singing sabor a mi! I thought ok, that’s a good sign!We were a party of 9 adults.As soon as we were seated they served us salsa with cubes of queso panela and nopalitos sliced in strips.Refried beans with chorizo salsa and chips. We were off to a good start.We ordered 2 botanas and the tuétano (bone marrow) appetizer with esquites.The tuétanos were amazing and unctuous.The botanas included rib eye, hotel ribs, finger ribs, beef fajita, grilled chicken, sausage, grilled onions, grilled noaplitos, chiles toreados and baked potatoes.We loved the presentation of the botanas as they were lit on fire and gave the meat an amazing toasty charred flavor.It was an enormous amount of food and it was delectable. The corn tortillas were hand made and amazing.The only thing was that when the staff brought out all our food, no body was taking the appetizer plates so it was getting a little crowded on the table. We had to ask to have used plates removed. That is not a big deal but a $400 meal should include impeccable service.The food was great, you willNot be disappointed."

"Upscale yet approachable Italian Fusion restaurant with an extensive menu. Great drink menu and happy hour til 7pm. On line menu doesn't show the extensive sekection and what is actually available in the restaurant! We will definitely be back, service,food and drinks were all delicious."

"The food was good, but this place is always packed. Had to look for the waitress to get a refill. In my opinion, you will receive a better service at Harlingen. It is very difficult to find parking at this Brownsville location. Parking: There are so many people who come to this place that the parking lot is full."

"The first time to eat here and love it! we live 45 minutes away and it was worth every mile. we ordered the wels with fritten and a double bacon egg cheeseburger with twirl rings. ok a piece homemade caramel cake! what we did not expect was a one pfund burger! my gracious! the amount of food they receive for the most affordable price they pay is amazing! the staff we talked with was super nice and polite. the menu gives them so many options! brownsville burger basket will not disappoint! great place to eat! we will definitely make more trips to brownsville!"

"Okay food...Calamari was rubbery.....asparagus was skimpy and baked potatoe was the smallest I've ever seen for a steakhouse in this higher price range. Prime Rib had a lot of fat but properly prepared. Sautéed spinach was very good."

"Came alone on Christmas at 21 o'clock. the quality of eating was good, but best was the service. I sat on the bar and the guy helped with everything. he helped to decide what to drink and very nice little talks during dinner. nice to find an open restaurant on christmas. I'm sure that'll be a Christmas dinner I'll remember. the price was ok, maybe a little high. I would come back."
