"Ryan was an amazing server! Made this experience 10 times better. Just finished eating here and had to leave a review because he should be acknowledged. Was very attentive, provided us with refills as soon as he saw needed, and made sure we had everything we need/ asked for, in order to eat our meals hot as requested. Even after we paid, he continued to check on us to make sure we were satisfied with our experience. I also noticed him helping out other servers. He truly deserves employee of the month with the excellent service he provides. I've been to this location before and haven't had a better experience. Great job Ryan. Hope you are recognized for your excellent service! I will continue driving an hour to this location and ask for you for future events. Food was amazing, rolls were hot and delicious, sweet potato and baked potato were very good smothering your steak made it so flavorful. Highly recommend paying extra for the mushrooms/onion etc."

"We’re visiting from out of town and chose this place for dinner on a Saturday night. It wasn’t terribly busy. Which was great. We were seated right away. But then it took anyone a really long time to greet us at our table. 3 different servers came up and asked us if our server had been over yet. One of them even took our drink order but never brought them to us. So finally our server greets us and says how sorry she was she got caught up with another table blah blah blah. Honestly I could care less, but no need to for any excuses. I simply said no worries and continued to give her not only our drink orders but also food orders, because it had been that long that we had waited. She finally starts bringing out our food one by one. Everything was good. Typical food and taste for this type of place. But her service was so slow we had to wait 3 separate times to flag her down for more water. At one point I contemplated getting up and just getting it myself. She took for ever to bring the bill. Shocker. I literally shoved my card at her so I didn’t waste anymore time. We were just so ready to leave at that point. Long story short. Horrible service. Decent food. Would I go back? Ehhhhhh I’d probably go somewhere else."

"Great Food, Excellent Ambiance Superb Service. I took my wife there for her birthday yesterday. We had reservations for 5pm. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and promptly seated at 5pm. Our server was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Her name is Tristen and I'd recommend asking for her (only if you want really good service lol). We both ordered the Filet Mignon and I also had Scallops. The steaks were delicious, the scallops grilled and seasoned to perfection. The ambiance with the live jazz player was perfect (not to loud, not too soft). Overall, the Toasted Barrel is the perfect upscale restaurant we needed in Corona and we highly recommend."
